Versatile video coding (VVC) achieves enormous improvement over the advanced high efficiency video coding (HEVC) standard due to the adoption of the quadtree with nested multi-type tree (QTMT) partition structure and other coding tools. However, the computational complexity increases dramatically as well. To tackle this problem, we propose a decision tree accelerated coding tree units (CTU) partition algorithm for intra prediction in VVC. Firstly, specially designated image features are extracted to characterize the coding unit (CU) complexity. Then, the trained decision tree is employed to predict the partition results. Finally, based on our newly designed intra prediction framework, the partition process is early terminated or redundant partition modes are screened out. The experimental results show that the proposed algorithm could achieve around 52% encoding time reduction for various test video sequences on average with only 1.75% Bjontegaard delta bit rate increase compared with the reference test model VTM9.0 of VVC.

A soft adhesive layer bonded between two rigid substrates, which are being pulled apart, may exhibit diverse instability phenomena before failure, such as cavitation, fingering, and fringe instability. In this study, by subdividing the soft layers into different numbers of disconnected smaller parts, we achieve desired instability modes and mechanical responses of the layer. The partition process not only retains the monotonicity on the tensile curve but also tunes the modulus and stretchability of the adhesive layer. Meanwhile, cavitation in layers of large aspect ratios is suppressed, and the hysteresis during cyclic loading is reduced. This study provides a guideline for the structural design of soft joints and adhesive layers.

Understanding the tortured history of Pakistan's revisionist agenda with respect to India is critical to appreciating the utility of LeT and other militants to Pakistan's deep state. For this reason, this chapter provides a brief history of the independence movement, the inherent communal ideologies that Pakistan's proponents mobilized to achieve an independent state, and a precis of the disastrous Partition process that gave rise to India and Pakistan. Three particular issues remain significant in contemporary Pakistan. First, many Pakistanis continue to pass onto their descendants these tales of communally motivated murder, rape, and mayhem that accompanied the countries' births. Second, Pakistanis continue to assert that the way in which the British parsed the districts of the Punjab was inherently unfair and prejudicial to Pakistan's interests. Third, Pakistanis believe that the princely state of Kashmir should have gone to Pakistan and that the way in which the British carved up the Punjab enabled India to mobilize troops against Pakistani invaders, thus thwarting Pakistani efforts to secure the state by force.

Over the past decades, several methodologies have coalesced around the functional decomposition and partial solution manipulation techniques. These methodologies take designers through steps that help decompose a design problem and build conceptual solutions based on the intended, product functionality. However, this kind of subjective decomposition restricts solutions of conceptual design within designers’ intended the local, rather the whole, solution space. In such cases, the ability for AI-based functional reasoning systems to obtain creative conceptual design solutions is weakened. In this paper, a functional decomposition model based on the domain decomposition theory in quotient space is proposed for carrying out functional decomposition without needing functional reasoning knowledge to support. In this model, the functional decomposition is treated as a granularity partition process in quotient space composed of three variables: the domain granularities, the attribute properties, and the topological structures. The closeness degrees and the attribute properties in fuzzy mathematics are utilized to describe the fuzzy equivalence relations between the granularities in the up-layer and in the lower-layer of the functional hierarchies. According to the order characteristics in the partially sequential quotient space, based on the homomorphism principle, the attribute properties and the topological structures corresponding to the lower-layer of the functional hierarchies are constructed then. Here, the attribute properties are expressed with membership functions pointed to the lower-layer from the up-layer of the functional hierarchies, and the topological structures are expressed with matrixes and the directed function network represent the topological connections among the subfunctions in the lower-layer of the functional hierarchies. Through refining the functional decomposition process step by step, and traversing all tree branches and leaf nodes in the functional decomposition tree, the functional hierarchies are obtained. Since the functional decomposition process not need the user to indicate or manage desired functionality, the model presented in this paper can reduce designers’ prejudices or preconceptions on the functional hierarchies, as well as extend the solution space of conceptual design.

The focus of the present work is to investigate the interaction of anticancer drug mitoxantrone with sodium cholate (NaC) bile salt in phosphate buffer (pH 7.4) and carbonate buffer (pH 10) by UV-Visible absorption spectroscopy. The results indicate that mitoxantrone may bind to NaC monomers and micelles through electrostatic and hydrophobic interactions and the interaction with NaC induces the dissociation of dimers and higher aggregates of mitoxantrone. The stoichiometric ratio, binding constant, micelle/water partition coefficient and the corresponding thermodynamic parameters for binding and partitioning processes were estimated from the monomer absorbance changes occurred as a result of the interaction between mitoxantrone and NaC micelles. The binding process of mitoxantrone to NaC micelles is spontaneous and entropy controlled over the range of studied temperatures, at both pH values. The partition process of mitoxantrone between micellar and bulk aqueous phases is spontaneous and entropy controlled at pH 7.4 but enthalpy controlled at pH 10.

Limited company resources must be managed effectively and efficiently in order to guarantee corporate tax information technology information that will assist management within the company for every necessary process and reliable information. C 4.5 can be used to predict motor stock at Brothers Motor. the learning process that existed in the algorithm C 4.5 is preparing the data traning, calculate the root of the tree, and the partition process of the decision. The decision process will stop when all the records are in the N node that gets the same class, there are no attributes in the record that are partitioned again, there is no record in the empty network. The result of the average calculation algorithm algorithm C 4. Then the results of the calculation can be used for data processing. Data Mining uses the C4.5 algorithm then obtains a decision tree. Produce data obtained 12 rules (rules) in determining the prediction of preparation of motor stocks at Brothers Motor dealers.Key word: dss, algortm c 5.4,motorbike, dealer
