Analysis of fuel volume fraction with uranium caride fuel in Gas Cooled Fast Reactor (GFR) with SRAC Code is has been done. The calculation used SRAC Code (Standard Reactor Analysis Code) which is developed by JAEA (Japan Atomic Energy Agency), and the data libraries nuclear used JENDL 4.0. There are two calculation has been used, fuel pin cell calculation (PIJ Calculation) and core calculation (CITATION Calculation). In core calculation, the leakage is calculated so the calculation more precise. The CITATION calculation use two type of core configuration, i.e. homogeneous core configuration and heterogeneous core configuration. The power density value of two type core configuration is quite difference. It is better use heterogeneous core configuration than homogeneous core configuration, because the power density of heterogeneous core configuration is flatter than the other. From the analysis of fuel volume fraction, when the volume fraction is increase, the k-eff value is increase. And the optimum design after has been analysis for fuel volume fraction, that is the fuel volume fraction is 49% with a heterogeneous core configuration of three types of fuel percentages, for Fuel1 9%, Fuel2 12% and Fuel3 15%. This reactor is cylindrical, has a core diameter of 240 cm and a core height of 100 cm.

The fourth generation legacy system used for designing rubber compounds contains valuable information related to rules of business, knowledge, methods and results in compounding. In order to leverage the accumulated knowledge or design new applications related to compounding it is important to define a domain model based on the existing system used with remarkable success in the past twenty years. Due to the lack of both source and binary code, standard software reverse engineering methods could not be applied in this situation. In the process of manufacturing rubber products, the greatest attention is focused on a further understanding and improvement of the development of new rubber compound formulations, design technology and improvement of the existing ones. A basic problem that needs to be resolved is what kind of information is needed about a particular rubber compound. The problem of building an elastomer formulation from the ground up is complex and can easily entail thousands of choices by the compounder. This problem is not a trivial one, and it can only be resolved on the basis of available science-based elastomer technology as well as software engineering methods and models. Modelling in problem space is used as a research method in this paper. Model of problem space (MOPS) deals with creating and understanding of the problem, primarily the problem that a potential user of the system faces. The modelling output transcends both data and code and results in a suite of visual models or diagrams created with use of Unified Modelling Language (UML).

SPESIFIKASI, KODE DAN STANDAR BAJA NASIONAL DAN POTENSINYA UNTUK MENDUKUNG PROGRAM PLTN TIPE LWR DI INDONESIA. Spesifikasi, kode dan standar baja nasional sangat penting diidentifkasi agar dapat dicocokkan atau dibandingkan  dengan spesifikasi, kode dan standar internasional untuk komponen PLTN sehingga industri baja diharapkan dapat berpartisipasi dalam pembangunan Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Nuklir (PLTN). Spesifikasi kode dan standar  baja mengacu pada ASTM, ASME, AISC dan lain - lain. Tujuan studi ini adalah mengidentifikasi  spesifikasi, kode dan standar baja yang dimiliki industri nasional dan kemudian dicocokkan dengan spesifikasi, kode dan standar baja sesuai standar internasional untuk PLTN. Metodologi penelitian adalah kajian literatur, pengiriman kuesioner, survei dan kunjungan teknis ke industri baja. Disimpulkan bahwa baja struktur pada dasarnya memenuhi persyaratan untuk konstruksi PLTN.Kata kunci: spesifikasi, kode, standar, baja, industriSPECIFICATION, CODE AND STANDARD OF NATIONAL STEEL AND THE POTENCY TO SUPPORT THE NUCLEAR POWER PROGRAMME OF LWR TYPE IN INDONESIA. Specification, codes and standards are important to identify in order to be matched or compared to international specifications, codes and standards for NPP components so that the steel industry is expected to participate in the construction of Nuclear Power Plants (NPPs). The specifications, code and standards of steel refer to ASTM, ASME, AISC and others. The purpose of this study is to identify specifications, codes and steel standards owned by national industries and then compared it to international standards for nuclear power plants. The research methodology is literature review, questionnaire submission, surveys and technical visits to the steel industry. It was concluded that the structural steel basically meets the requirements for NPP construction.Keywords: specification, code, standard, steel, industry

The process from the engineering development to actual application of the new techniques used for the maintenance activities for Japanese nuclear power plants’ (NPPs) component in operation, the JANTI Guideline, “Guideline on Application Process of Techniques Developed for Maintenance Activities” was developed to propose clarification activities to be checked or examined in each stage throughout process. The guideline focuses on techniques used for especially such remedial activities as repair, replacement and mitigation of ageing. In engineering development stage, all information on the new techniques are provided to be checked or examined at each stage of the process followed further, such as code/standard formulation stage. It is important to carry out share recognition for the activities, which should be performed in each process in the prompt application to the actual plant system efficiently, among the persons or organizations concerned.

Geometric or 3D modeling playing key role in geometry definition. These modelers evolved from wire-frame models to Boundary representations or CSG models in solid modeling or Bezier spline or Non-uniform rational B-spline representation. After modeling process, using internal representation, part will be post-processed for manufacturing. Variety of postprocessors existing, and using unique G-code standard we producing on CNC machines requested parts. 3D Printers use the same G-Code standards with extensions for more than ten M functions that programmers use for setting 3D printing parameters different than we using for CNC manufacturing. List of M functions varies depend of the manufacturer.
