Artificial Intelligence in Education (AIEd): from Applied Problems of Informatization to Studying a Topic in a Computer Science Course

The article provides an overview of two main possibilities of using artificial intelligence in education: as new educational tools and as the development of the theoretical and practical foundations of artificial intelligence in the school computer science course. A comparison of approaches to the use in education and the study of artificial intelligence issues at the level of secondary general education in different countries is given. The development of the topic at all levels of general education is considered.

The Unavailability of Computer for Online School during the COVID-19 Pandemic and Parental Mental Health

The outbreak of the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) causing millions of people to be infected has posed major public health and governance challenges. This study evaluates the extent to which the unavailability of computer for children to learn online during the pandemic affects parental psychological wellbeing. We find that parents having no computer for their children to learn online during to the pandemic are 36.95, 42.85, 38.94, and 40.65 percentage points more likely to feel anxious, worried, displeased, and depressed every day. The study calls for the expansion of supports for children and families during the pandemic, especially for disproportionately affected communities. MINIMIZING LOGICAL EXPRESSIONS IN A SCHOOL COMPUTER SCIENCE COURSE

В статье представлен анализ учебников по информатике (10-11 класс) по теме «Минимизация логических выражений». Его результаты могут быть использованы при проектировании работы по углубленной подготовке старшеклассников с учетом межпредметных связей и практико-ориентированного подхода к обучению. In this article an analysis of Information Technology books (10-11 grades) on the topic "Minimization of logical expressions" is represented. Its results can be used in the design of work on in-depth training of high school students, taking into account intersubject connections and a practice-oriented approach to teaching.

Prospects For the Introduction of Artificial Intelligence Technologies in Higher and General Education

At present, comprehensive research on the implementation of artificial intelligence technologies is of particular relevance. The article is devoted to the implementation of artificial intelligence technologies in the field of education. The perspective directions of using artificial intelligence in the sphere of higher and general education are considered and analyzed. The article actualizes the problem of implementing artificial intelligence technologies in teaching students and schoolchildren. The purpose of the article is to reveal the specifics of the use of artificial intelligence technologies in the field of education. The study is theoretical in nature and includes an analysis of the possibilities of using artificial intelligence technologies at different levels of education. The program of the discipline “Artificial Intelligence Technologies”, developed in the areas of Teacher education training at the Novosibirsk State Pedagogical University, is presented. The possibilities of studying artificial intelligence technologies using the Python language in a school computer science course are considered, which will allow you to move to a new level of learning programming both in schools and in higher education.
