Satellite communication is highly useful in collecting data from human unattended area, early warning of natural disasters, earth observation and so on. Numerous work has been carried out in the area of satellite based communication and networking. It is an inseparable component from the Global Network infrastructure. In this study, we recapitulate, compare and comments on proposed approaches for the satellite based communication with keeping in view the parameters such as efficient data transfer between the satellite and the ground station, various on-board data processing techniques, prioritizing the payload data, load balancing and optimizing energy consumption issues.

The data of Logging While Drilling is used for Geosteering and evaluation of layers. Compared with traditional logging, LWD has its own advantages, real-time, security, and it could obtain original information of the destination formation. With the rapid development of logging tools design, LWD tools have a large improvement, and various tools used for measuring the parameters of layers have been designed and applied , resistivity imaginary logging tool, MPR, InSite ADR, Shock Wave have been invited and innovated. However, there are still a lot of unsolved problems existing, such as interpretation of logging, the accuracy of the evaluation on layers and so on. Therefore, numerous work need to be done in the future.

One of the biggest problems for establishing semantic interoperability is semantic conflicts, which prevent seamless message exchange between heterogeneous Web services. Consequently, numerous work has been done to establish semantic interoperability by solving semantic conflicts. However, the current work has not reached its maturity level to solve this problem effectively. Therefore, this paper proposes a new ontology driven approach to detect semantic conflicts between heterogeneous Web services at message level. This new approach will advance the process of establishing semantic interoperability in order to allow heterogeneous Web services to exchange their messages seamlessly. The main purpose of our approach is to detect the potential conflicts that occur during message exchange process.

Abstract: The gender difference is not really a problem as long as they do not deliver gender inequality. Gender inequality is manifested in various forms, such as marginalization, stereotyping through the formation of negative labeling, violence, longer and more numerous work load, and dissemination of the ideology of gender roles generally incurred and charged to women. All of those are used to drive feminist literary criticism, particularly on women image in the story of Tuung Kuning. The women image in this story is all kinds of an idea or mental illustration of the spiritual and daily behavior of women. Women in Balinese literature are illustrated in various images which essentially demonstrates women inferiorism. In the study of the Tuung Kuning story, the most prominent image of women is “women as victims of male tyranny”. Key Words: gender, marginalization, violence, and women

The near infrared light is important for the exploration of proto-planetary nebulae as well as for the planetary nebulae in early phases (Persi et. al. 1986, in Planetary and Proto-Planetary Nebulae: From IRAS to ISO, ed A. P. Martinez). Numerous work on the fluxes of the well known planetary nebulae was already done in the late 80's, but a sky survey will give a large sample of data to provide more detailed statistics. The present work presents an overview of the data on planetary nebulae expected from the European project of a deep near infrared survey of the southern sky (denis) (IAP and DESPA Paris, Heidelberg, Leiden, IAC Tenerife, Grenoble, Lyon, Frascati, Innsbruck, Vienna) in the I, J and K band with a limiting magnitude of 14.5 to 15 for point sources and 17 mag arcsec−1 for the surface brightness. The angular resolution for identification of non–point source objects will be about 5″.
