AbstractBiometric security is a major emerging concern in the field of data security. In recent years, research initiatives in the field of biometrics have grown at an exponential rate. The multimodal biometric technique with enhanced accuracy and recognition rate for smart cities is still a challenging issue. This paper proposes an enhanced multimodal biometric technique for a smart city that is based on score-level fusion. Specifically, the proposed approach provides a solution to the existing challenges by providing a multimodal fusion technique with an optimized fuzzy genetic algorithm providing enhanced performance. Experiments with different biometric environments reveal significant improvements over existing strategies. The result analysis shows that the proposed approach provides better performance in terms of the false acceptance rate, false rejection rate, equal error rate, precision, recall, and accuracy. The proposed scheme provides a higher accuracy rate of 99.88% and a lower equal error rate of 0.18%. The vital part of this approach is the inclusion of a fuzzy strategy with soft computing techniques known as an optimized fuzzy genetic algorithm.

Abstract Social media is recent generation of Recommender Systems (RS). Health Care Recommender System (HCRS) term used to analyse the medical data and then predict the disease of a patient with the help of various techniques used in RS. To ensure the quality and trustworthiness of medical data, machine learning algorithms are applied. Even though, there is a much gap between health care diagnosis and IT solutions. To evade this gap, the hybrid Fuzzy-genetic approach is used in HCRS. In this, Genetic algorithm is used for similarity computations with the help of mutation and crossover operators. Later fuzzy rules are generated for the data set with the additional personalized information of a user. Considering these approaches, the proposed model enhances the quality of recommendation in HCRS.

In order to solve the problem of large data classification of human resources, a new parallel classification algorithm of large data of human resources based on the Spark platform is proposed in this study. According to the spark platform, it can complete the update and distance calculation of the human resource big data clustering center and design the big data clustering process. Based on this, the K-means clustering method is introduced to mine frequent itemsets of large data and optimize the aggregation degree of similar large data. A fuzzy genetic algorithm is used to identify the balance of big data. This study adopts the selective integration method to study the unbalanced human resource database classifier in the process of transmission, introduces the decision contour matrix to construct the anomaly support model of the set of unbalanced human resource data classifier, identifies the features of the big data of human resource in parallel, repairs the relevance of the big data of human resource, introduces the improved ant colony algorithm, and finally realizes the design of the parallel classification algorithm of the big data of human resource. The experimental results show that the proposed algorithm has a low time cost, good classification effect, and ideal parallel classification rule complexity.

Manuscript management plays an important role in the whole periodical industry. Journals and magazine society receive different types of contribution documents from all over the world. Many submission files are mostly transmitted by e-mail, but there are some hidden disadvantages in e-mail. In view of this situation, this paper studies the establishment and optimization simulation of manuscript management system based on fuzzy genetic neural network (FGNN). On the basis of genetic neural network, combined with the advantages of FNN neural network algorithm, a FGNN structure is established to optimize the system, which is helpful to the learning and expression ability of the whole system. The results show that the FGNN can extract and express the structured data, and the submission management system runs faster. Then, UML modeling and PHP framework are used to realize the design and establishment of the system, and the simulation model of contribution system is constructed. The innovation of this study is to combine genetic neural network with FNN neural network, which can query, manage, and classify manuscripts quickly. It also improves the complex submission system and optimizes the submission process. The whole journal editing work has been effectively improved.

In this paper, a new intelligent portable mechanical system is introduced experimentally and theoretically to detect damage employing the fuzzy-genetic algorithm and EMD. For this purpose, the acceleration-time history is obtained from three points of a simply-supported beam utilizing accelerometer sensors. The gained signal is decomposed into small components by using an EMD method. Each decomposed component contains a specific frequency range. Finally, the proposed algorithm is designed to find the location and severity of damage through the frequency variation pattern among the safe and the damaged beam.
