Abstract Tolerance of sexual minorities is presumed to matter, but its effects are under-studied. Because tolerance can affect both experiences at work and division of labor in the household, we study the relationship between tolerance and the time cohabiting gay men and lesbian women spend in paid work across the United States. In the average state, the increase in tolerance between 2003 and 2015 is associated with an increase in paid work of about 1 week per year among cohabiting gay men. Though not robustly statistically significant, the increase in tolerance is associated with a decrease in paid work among cohabiting lesbian women relative to heterosexual women.

The article deals with the evaluation of the internal organizational behavior of the employees of the company, i.e the attempt to convert the behavior of the workers employed in various business operations into coefficients and thus to determine the extent to which the behavior of the employees determines the fulfillment of individual tasks (plans). The article evaluates the current 11 operations in the company. Newstrom-Davis methodology and conditional digital information of the company are used for this purpose. In the article, the author develops the idea that if this or that operation plan is completed, then the evaluation coefficient will be one, if not less. Plans for two of the 11 surgeries were overstaffed, with less than nine surgeries. As a result, the total evaluation of 11 operations was not 11, but 7,874. The author of the article considers that this is the average state of internal organizational behavior of the company's staff and advises companies to study the psychological characteristics of employees and, along with the professional mark, to take these characteristics into account in the recruitment process because of internal organizational behavior. Keywords: Internal organizational behavior; Staff; Psychological characteristics; Evaluation of internal organizational behavior.

The concept of averaged controllability has been introduced relatively recently aiming to analyse the controllability of systems or processes containing some important parameters that may affect the controllability in usual sense. The averaged controllability of various specific and abstract equations has been studied so far. Relatively little attention has been paid to averaged controllability of coupled systems. The averaged state of a thermoelastic rectangular plate is studied in this paper using the well-known Green's function approach. The aim of the paper is to provide a theoretical background for further exact and approximate controllability analysis of fully coupled thermoelasticity equations which will appear elsewhere.

In this paper, we consider the classical capacity problem for Gaussian measurement channels. We establish Gaussianity of the average state of the optimal ensemble in the general case and discuss the Hypothesis of Gaussian Maximizers concerning the structure of the ensemble. Then, we consider the case of one mode in detail, including the dual problem of accessible information of a Gaussian ensemble. Our findings are relevant to practical situations in quantum communications where the receiver is Gaussian (say, a general-dyne detection) and concatenation of the Gaussian channel and the receiver can be considered as one Gaussian measurement channel. Our efforts in this and preceding papers are then aimed at establishing full Gaussianity of the optimal ensemble (usually taken as an assumption) in such schemes.

Abstract Positive affect is beneficial for regulating negative emotional responses to stressful events. Yet, few studies have examined if positive affect may attenuate negative affect the following day. We examined how both trait positive affect and state positive affect are associated with next day stressor-related negative emotions. Participants (N = 1,588) from the National Study of Daily Experiences II (NSDE II) and the Midlife in the United States survey (MIDUS II) answered questions about stressors and emotion across eight days. People high on trait positive affect reported less negative affect the day following a stressor. On days when people experienced a stressor and higher than average state positive affect, they experienced less negative emotion the following day. This held true regardless of whether people were high or low on trait positive affect. Positive affect can help explain both who and when people will have attenuated emotional responses to stressful events.

In this paper, stability of the Luo converter and the effect of circuit elements on the stability and damping fluctuation frequency is investigated. Along with this, the mathematical modeling of positive output (P/O) Luo converter in continuous conduction mode (CCM) is done by using an average state-space method. By using the obtained mathematical model, the transfer function of the Luo converter is extracted, and by using the location of the roots the mentioned transfer function, stability, and effect of circuit elements on converter behavior are studied. Also, its situations are compared with other converters. The analyses are performed through MATLAB based on simulations, which includes both roots location and bodes diagram.
