The analysis of growth and meat productivity of the growing stock of Limousin cattle under the condition of stable system in Central Chernozemie region of Russia has been carried out. 2 groups of animals were formed according to analogue pair method taking into account their age and live weight to conduct the experiment. The article presents the analysis of intravital assessment of growth intensity of bulls and heifers according to the results of dynamics of live weight change in cattle with regards to age aspect. It was determined that during the time of development (1—19 months) live weight of bulls exceeded that of heifers by 160.2 kg or 25.9%. Special aspects of development during various physiological periods were identified. Evaluation of meat productivity, which is formed in well-developed animals with strong skeletal frame and excellently formed muscular tissue, was carried out according to the results of control slaughter at the age of 19 month taking the following into account: pre-slaughter live weight, hot carcass weight, carcass yield, internal fat weight and yield, slaughter weight, and slaughter yield. High slaughter yield (62.0%) was connected to more pronounced development of muscular tissue in carcasses, which is an individual characteristic of beef breeds of cattle of French breeding.

Fibrous dysplasia (FD) is a fibro-osseous anomaly, where in normal bone is substituted with fibrous stroma. It is of unknown etiology but recently reported to be associated with mutation in GNAS1 gene (20q13.2) and consists of three subtypes monostotic, polyostotic and craniofacial. Craniofacial FD (CFD) mainly affects the bones of the craniofacial skeletal frame. This article reports a case of a 10 year old boy diagnosed with polyostotic fibrous dysplasia with clinical, radiographical and tissue pathological features.

Abstract: The purpose of our study was to establish a circus student-artist anthropometric characterization allowing for their classification among the different activities or sports discipline and to know if they present specific morphological adaptations due to their practices. Methods: Thirty healthy adults (13 women and 17 men, 22.5±2 years, 170.1±6.4 cm, 64.5±7.5 kg) participated voluntarily in this study. These student-artists were divided into two groups: 15 aerials (dangling trapeze, stated trapeze, outfielders, Chinese mast, aerial fabrics, aerial webbing, smooth rope, and flying rope) and 15 non-aerials (banquine, bascule, carried acrobatic, cyr wheel, acrobatics, and acrobatic juggling). Biometric measurements of all body segments were collected. Results: There was a significant difference in body anthropometric measurements between the two groups (height, arm span and waistline). Non-aerials were characterized by a slightly prominent vertical development of the skeletal frame and showed a mesomorphic-ectomorphic somatotype, while the aerials presented a balanced mesomorphic type. Conclusion: The circassians showed an anthropometric adaptation according to their activity types but in general, and all activities combined, they remain smaller than the average man. This could be an anthropometric feature to meet the specific functional requirements of this activities type.

This paper investigates such concrete properties which determine the stress magnitude of concrete caused by its volume changes. The magnitude of induced stress is given by shrinkage or swelling value and corresponding modulus of elasticity value. It is essential to know these properties of concrete from the beginning of its skeletal frame formation since the volume changes occur almost immediately after mixing of water with cement. In addition, the humidity effect of ambient environment when the early age concrete matured was considered. Thereby was achieved relevant comparison between ordinary concrete mixture and optimized one. For experiments was used micro-concrete (with maximum aggregate size 1.6 mm) with respect to cost reduction. After the suitable composition of micro-concrete was found the analogue investigation was carried out with the optimized concrete.
