Abstract To develop a climatic suitability index and conduct the cultivation division of loquat in Lishui, Zhejiang province of China, we introduced the multi-indicator comprehensive risk assessment method to combine with the hazard factor model, necessary climatic elements during the growing season of loquat and geographic information elements. Results show that the annual active accumulated temperature (rainfall ) over most Lishui is more than 4500°C (1600mm). The two climatic factors above can well meet the needs of loquat growth. The frozen injury days over most Lishui during the young fruit period of loquat are more than 10.0 days, which are higher than those during the flowering period. The annual mean number of continuous overcast rain occurrences is less than 4.5. The climatic mean annual occurrence of persistent abnormal high temperature weather is less than 1. Overall, the most suitable area for the cultivation of loquat mainly located over the relatively flat areas such as river valleys and basins, especially the banks of the Oujiang River in Qingtian and Xiaoxi River valley in Jingning. The excellent combinations of light, heat and water with relatively few meteorological disasters just like frozen injury, continuous rain and high temperature provide a good climatic conditions of the high-quality of loquat planting.

Diatomite soil is a kind of bio-siliceous soil with complex composition and special structure, the physical and mechanical properties of diatomite soil are very important for the engineering project. In this paper, the physical properties, mechanical properties, and microstructure of diatomite soil in Zhejiang Province are studied by geotechnical tests and microscopic tests from the macroscopic and microscopic perspective. The results show that: (1) The diatomite soil has special properties different from other soils, including small particle size, low specific gravity value, high liquid-plastic limit, and low compressibility, and the strength indexes c and φ of diatomite soil will decrease with an increase in soil water content; (2) in the triaxial test, when the dry density of diatomite soil increases from 1.30 g/cm3 to 1.50 g/cm3, the effective internal friction angle of diatomite soil increases from 5.6° to 14.5° and the effective cohesion increases from 30.9 kPa to 49.6 kPa. The stress–strain curve of diatomite soil changes from weak softening type to weak hardening type when the confining pressure is above 200 kPa; (3) the diatomite soil has high porosity due to its unique microstructure; it is rich in aluminum oxides and minerals, which will greatly reduce the engineering performance of diatomite soil.

Members of the scaphidiine tribe Scaphisomatini collected recently in Tianmushan Biosphere Reserve (Zhejiang) and Wuyishan National Nature Reserve (part of Wuyishan Biosphere Reserve, Fujian), China, are studied. Two species, Scaphisoma krali Löbl, sp. nov. and Scaphisoma sekerkai Löbl, sp. nov., are described from Wuyishan. Baeocera franzi (Löbl, 1973) and Scaphisoma mutator Löbl, 2000 are recorded for the first time from Zhejiang province, and Scaphisoma binhanum (Pic, 1922) and Scaphoxium intermedium Löbl, 1984 are recorded for the first time from Fujian province.

As a national intangible cultural heritage of China, the southern Zhejiang Clamp-resist dyeing is a kind of blue quilt manufacturing technology used by ancient folk people. This kind of folk homescloths has its own unique folk aesthetic form, and its patterns are mostly monochrome square symmetrical baizi figures, opera figures and auspicious patterns. In the local customs of Zhejiang province, this kind of quilt is often used as a dowry for women when they get married (Zhang, 2010). In this paper, the author made an in-depth investigation and research on the technical details and inheritance of the southern Zhejiang Clamp-resist dyeing.

The present government debt governance focuses on calculating, preventing, and controlling local government debt risk. The default probability of local government debt in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province, is calculated using a modified “Kealhofer, McQuown, and Vasicek” (KMV) model. The findings reveal that Hangzhou’s debt risk in the next three years is usually manageable, but that debt risk will progressively emerge in the coming years when the debt payback cycle begins.

Background. Patient Perceived Value (PPV) provides a valuable perspective to explain why the government reforms on health system in terms of functional medical treatment performance improvement did not decrease the crowded waiting line or increased patient satisfaction in China. Methods. Questionnaires comprising seven constructs were sent to patients from seven highly recognized hospitals in Zhejiang Province of China. It was collected via face-by-face in a twelve-month period (2019), and 2586 valid data were collected for SPSS statistic accordingly. Results. Besides the significance of the functional medical treatment values (such as the treatment effectiveness, accurate price, standardization, and normalization), the emotional values (reasonable waiting time, convenient accessibility, communication with doctors/nurses) were significant in patients’ consciousness. Patient medical treatment seeking preferences were affected by patients’ background characteristics and perceived value, which consequently produced differentiated patients’ satisfaction. Patients’ characteristics, which related to the age, gender, illness conditions, educational, and income level, would have different demanding in medical treatment seeking. These young female patients in outpatient or in mild illness conditions with higher educational and income levels tend to be relatively high in timing and convenience demanding. Conclusion. This result would change the policy maker and hospitals to considerate the patients’ emotional value as well as functional value in providing medical treatment. Classified patients’ time arrangement tactics consistent with distinguished characteristics, equipped up with convenient accessibility and interconnected medical treatment environment design, can create valuable patients’ satisfaction in China.
