With the increasing human population, the demand for healthy, nutritious but cheap food also increasing day by day. The product of aquaculture mainly fish is more efficient to improve global food security. Along with the seafood, the effort is going on for more production of freshwater fish. For that reason, proper growth and sufficient proximate principles in fish are essential with a low-cost but healthy fish diet. Trichogaster fasciata and, Heteropneustes fossilis were fed with fourth instar larvae of Chironomus striatipennis (F1), dry Tubifex (F2), and granular floating type aquarium fish food (F3) respectively to observe the nutritional effect of different fish meal. Fish fed with F1 showed effective food conversion ratio and specific growth rate in comparison to fish fed on F2 and F3 respectively. The average daily gain was 214.3 % and 47.61% respectively in two fish when fed with F1. Percent gain weight increased from 1.12 (7th day) to 15.03 (28th day) in T. fasciata and 1.497 (7th day) to 8.21 (28th day) in H. fossilis when fed on F1. The result also showed that the protein level was increased steadily in both fishes when fed with F1 in comparison to other foods. It may be concluded that live larvae of Chironomus striatipennis were more effective fish food than dry Tubifex and aquarium fish food. It is a natural organic fish food with a negligible wastage used for fish and keeps the culture medium clean and debris-free with an ecofriendly environment.

Recently released mobile phone cameras are capable of photographing objects at a fairly close distance. In addition, the field angle from the camera has increased. To measure the resolution of a mobile phone camera, the target must be photographed. To measure the resolution according to the object distance change from a mobile phone camera with a wide field angle, the target size must be large, whereas the target position must be moved. However, the target size cannot be changed. A virtual object for the target was created using a collimator. Moving a part of the lens group constituting the collimator also changes the virtual object distance. If the amount of change in the virtual object distance is large, the resolution of the collimator may also change. Therefore, a collimator that maintains the resolution even when the distance of the virtual object changes is designed as a floating type in which two lens groups move. Therefore, we propose a new floating collimator optical system that can inspect the resolution of mobile phone cameras from infinity to a close range to compensate for aberrations caused by object distance changes.

Abstract Direct Solar Steam Generation (DSSG) system is an emerging technique in the field of desalination for yielding sustainable clean water. This investigation propagates through the use of nanoscale absorbers (montmorillonite) for sturdy desalination because of their excellent photo thermal conversation of nanoparticles. The solar absorber was dispersed in sea water in liquid type rather than fixed or floating type. Nanoparticles of chemical composition were employed by the researchers from starting to the present day, which includes carbon nanotubes, graphene oxide, etc. Inspired by nature and keeping in mind an eco-friendly technique, here we considered montmorillonite clay nanoparticles of natural origin. The experiment was conducted for an operational period of 14 days with a yield of 5.33–6.45 kg/m2/day with an evaporation rate of 0.70, 1.42 and 4.47 kg/m2.hr under 1-, 2- and 4-sun irradiance. The clean water output parameters was validated with WHO standards to satisfy potable water characteristics. The water characteristics before desalination for turbidity, pH, and Cl–, Na+ and TDS were found to be 48.50, 8.7, and 18,400, 12,120, 20,400 mg/L respectively; after desalination they were found to be 0.30, 6.65, 12, 4.5 and 52 mg/L respectively. This work focuses on current water scarcity problem and suggest a way to survival by using naturally available, low cost material.

Nowadays, based upon human needs and preferring perpetual types of energy, photovoltaic system (PV) is a suitable alternative and more frequently used in northern countries, which are recently more attracted by solar power. The new floating type of the structure is installed in the water bodies instead of land. One of the main elements in floating photovoltaic structures is the forces imposed on the panels. In the northern regions, the dominant load is considered to be ice interaction with the structure. This study aims at identifying the loads imposed on a floating PV structure located in the Łapino Reservoir on the Radunia River, which are produced by the wind action on the ice cover. The wind velocity varying between 10 and 26 m/s is implemented, and also the reduction of the pool level was studied. Wind direction plays an important role in the inclination and expansion of ice accumulation. Moreover, the magnitude of wind velocity is a determinative factor in the maximum thickness emerged in various spot of the area. Changes in pool level reduction is not able to cause noticeable changes in ice cover expansion and maximum ice thickness. Additionally, the shoving mechanism is able to originate abrupt changes in ice thickness by means of rising wind velocity.

Purpose of this study is to research the floating type cylindrical hologram that can also be embodied in the outdoor. This study identifies the floating hologram and its type, and researches the applied form design and realization type based on floating hologram realization type. For the manufacturing of miniature hologram, the floating mirror is installed in cylinder to embody new hologram type out of existing hologram. For the design of cylinder, the polarizing filter is used to minimize the diffracted reflection, and air intake device, the fan is installed to minimize the problem of heat and humidity. The study was able to check if realistic content that can be installed in outdoor space is embodied by researching how to minimize the problem of outdoor cylinder floating hologram.

Prishtavamsha Sandhi (joints of vertebral column) is the Cheshtavantha Prathara (movable and floating) type of joint. Twenty four joints are present in Prishtavamsha (vertebral column). Intervertebral joints are the joints which connect vertebrae to each other consists of cartilaginous joints in between the vertebral bodies and synovial joint between vertebral arches. Sandhigatha Vata (osteo arthritis) is one among the Vatavyadhi, which can affect all joints in the body. Sandhigatha Vata (osteoarthritis) will be dominated with symptoms like pain, swelling and impairment of function. In Sandhigatha Vata (osteoarthritis), destruction occurs in the joints due to aggrevated Vata. But it is not clear about the type of destruction observed in the joints. To rule out the various structural changes observed in the joints of Prishtavamsha (vertebral column) this work is being undertaken. Among 100 patients suffering from Prishtavamsha Sandhigatha Vata (osteoarthritis of vertebral column), all patients showed structural changes, 38% having Intervertebral disc prolapse, 22% having spondylosis, 20% having osteophytes, 8% with Osteosclerosis, 6% having spondylolisthesis, 5% with fractures and 1 with stenosis justifies structural changes (Hanthi Sandhi) occurs in Sandhigatha Vata (osteoarthritis). All patients had pain and restricted movements, 80% patient had swelling which justifies the symptoms of Sandhigatha Vata (osteoarthritis).
