This chapter focuses on Newton’s ideas about matter and bodies in connection with traditional questions about nature and structure, also examining an important crossover into his quantitative approach. It begins with his early proclivity for ontologically prior parts and atomism itself, then considering their effect upon his ideas about natural kinds; his composition theory; and his explanatory shift from the aether to forces. His most metaphysical account of body, articulated in De gravitatione and belonging to a broader account of substance, is then examined. Rather than employing a substratum, the account reduces bodies solely to powers and attributes, which themselves establish material dimensionality. The penultimate section examines a crossover of some matter-theoretic ideas into the Principia’s very different theoretical context, where they threaten his argument for universal gravitation. It shows that his unjustified assumption of matter’s inertial homogeneity derives from his old atomist commitments.

Research methods for studying team composition tend to employ either a variable-centered or person-centered approach. The variable-centered approach allows scholars to consider how patterns of attributes between team members influence teams, while the person-centered approach allows scholars to consider how variation in multiple attributes within team members influences subgroup formation and its effects. Team composition theory, however, is becoming increasingly sophisticated, assuming variation on multiple attributes both within and between team members—for example, in predicting how a team functions differently when its most assertive members are also optimistic rather than pessimistic. To support this new theory, we propose an attribute alignment approach, which complements the variable-centered and person-centered approaches by modeling teams as matrices of their members and their members’ attributes. We first demonstrate how to calculate attribute alignment by determining the vector norm and vector angle between team members’ attributes. Then, we demonstrate how the alignment of team member personality attributes (neuroticism and agreeableness) affects team relationship conflict. Finally, we discuss the potential of using the attribute alignment approach to enrich broader team research.

Abstract Tourism is one of the sources of national income. Komodo Island is one of Indonesia's priority destinations. Moreover, Komodo Island is one of the products in which the Indonesian people are highly involved. In the pandemic era, tourism activities including Komodo Island have decreased. The purpose of this research was to determine an effective marketing communication model for Komodo Island in carrying out post-pandemic activities in increasing interest in returning to Komodo Island. This research used Partial Least Square (PLS) analysis, involving 100 Indonesian travelers as samples, used the Elaboration Likelihood Model (ELT) theory and message composition theory for basic analysis. This research result are the marketing communication model for Komodo Island is the way the central route operates in the ELT. The effectiveness of marketing communication included the elements of communication tools, types of arguments, and message quality. Repetition in this model was not an important aspect, while prior knowledge and strategies for message acquisition were important. The internal motivation was a variable that became important for achieving tourists’ satisfaction and interest in repeated visits.  Keywords: ELT; Komodo Island; Marketing Communication; Messages; Model  Abstrak  Pariwisata merupakan salah satu sumber pendapatan negara.

Abstract In November 1918, the labor movement of Bavaria, Germany, overthrew the monarchist government and, in April 1919, proclaimed a Bavarian Council Republic (BCR). This article analyzes the revolution and its defeat through the lens of class composition theory, thereby suggesting some revisions to the latter. The technical composition of the Bavarian working class fostered the concept of self-management, which lay at the heart of the councils as the organizational form of the revolution. However, it also nurtured authoritarian potentials, which were more in line with-counter revolutionary positions. The article suggests that class composition theory must be expanded by the notion of social composition, taking into account struggles over reproduction and consumption: Inflation, unemployment, food shortages, and disease led to a crisis in material reproduction, which in turn led large parts of the unemployed and of the women's movement to become radical revolutionaries. The article argues to conceptualize technical and social class composition to be in a dialectical relationship with political composition. It thus emphasizes the role of ideologies of anti-Semitism and anti-feminism, both within the counter-revolution and the revolution itself. While the combination of different struggles for emancipation contributed to the early successes of the revolution, their ideological division was as an important factor in its defeat.

Cirebon is a unique city with 3 palaces, including Kasepuhan, Kanoman, Kacirebonan. The palaces are influenced by the history and culture of the Baluwarti palace, which is believed to have specific concepts in the arrangement and placement of building masses. This study  examines the concepts underlying Baluwarti in the 3 Cirebon palaces. This is achieved by first studying the basis of Palace's trust rules used to regulate the mass placing of the palace building. Subsequently, the study uses an architectural anatomical theory consisting of the building site and scope, and the property-composition theory to explore the orientation and position of the Palace building. The results showed that the concept underlying Baluwarti in the 3 Cirebon palaces consists of Javanese and Sundanese cosmologies as building orientation, the type of land on which it was built, and Mahameru and the building position. This research contributes to the general architecture in the uniqueness of historical, cultural and local values. Also, it provides architectural information regarding the concepts underlying Baluwarti in the 3 Cirebon palaces.

This article aims to reveal the transformation process of a traditional lullaby entitled Kacang Dari into chamber music so that the song can rise from the of extinction. The problems discussed in this article are focused on the rapid development of technology that has indirectly made the legacy of traditions, especially traditional songs, increasingly abandoned. One of the traditional songs that is on the verge of extinction is Kacang Dari. Kacang Dari is a traditional song originating from Pujungan Village, Pupuan, Tabanan-Bali. This song is a lullaby that is rarely sung now, even very few children in Pujungan Village know about the song Kacang Dari. In order to approach this problem, the researcher uses the theory of transformation and composition theory to represent the song into a new form, namely chamber music. In this transformation process the researcher uses the creation method which refers to the method offered by Alma Hawkins consisting of the exploration, improvisation, and formation stage. This creation concludes that a traditional song that is getting extinct and not sung by the song can be picked up and transformed into a new form so that it can maintain its existence and attract the public's interest to be able to re-enjoy the song.

The existence of ornament which adorns almost the entire walls of the tomb functions as decorative or symbolic. Ornamen provided information about the life of Raja Binamu when he was still victorious. The analysis is described in a descriptive qualitative manner with an interpretive approach. The discussion is described based on problems related to how the ornament is able to be an attraction of visitors or tourists. The scavenger began by analyzing the ornament in the tomb with Thomas Murno's ornamental composition theory which was developed in Guntur, according to Murno, organizing the composition in art works in this case there were four models of ornaments, namely: composition based on expediency, composition based on representation, composition based on expository, and thematic based composition. It also uses concepts that are based on tourism science strategies. The results obtained in the form of an understanding that the ornaments there contain two understandings, namely ornamentation as a decorative element, namely the presence of thematic repetition ornaments such as parengreng flower motifs. The symbolic ornaments explain the life and activities of kings during his life and have a moral message. Related to its potential as a tourist attraction, the presence of ornaments needs an understanding and image strategy in the form of 1) bringing up ornaments or ornaments in each of the promotional media, 2) providing information about the types of decoration or ornaments in books (booklets) tourist guides and 3 ) creating merchandise taken from ornamental motifs in the Raja Binamu tomb complex
