The author devoted the paper to the peculiarities of bilateral cooperation between Russia and Germany in the field of maintaining a favourable environmental balance. The author notes that nature protection for a long time was not considered as a subject of interstate cooperation and did not fall into the focus of the agenda of important international summits. In connection with a number of historical reasons, at the beginning of the last century there was minimal state interest in organizing the protection of protected areas, conducting stabilization and supporting environmental measures, as well as ensuring the conservation and renewability of natural resources. The extensive path of economic development, the devastating military operations and the assessment of the natural environment as a resource basis for achieving primary state tasks contributed to the development of the global environmental crisis by the middle of the 20th century. The paper emphasizes that the starting point of international environmental cooperation and the adoption of a number of universal environmental acts were reports within the framework of the Club of Rome and further multilateral summits on climate and environmental issues dating back to the second half of the 20th century. The author assigns a special role within the framework of Russian-German environmental cooperation to the Nord Stream and Nord Stream-2 gas pipelines. The author emphasizes that cooperation within the framework of the projects took place in the context of the Western sanctions on Russia. Using energy projects as an example, the author showed in action the environmental relationship in the process of fuel and energy dialogue between partner countries. Based on an analysis of the results achieved, the author concludes that the future environmental cooperation between Russia and Germany is promising.

It wouldn't be too exaggerated to say that today, in the second year of the coronavirus infodemic, we live in a world designed by the Club of Rome. Moreover, here we can speak of “negative geoplanetary architecture”: the Club of Rome did not expand and complicate the current reality, but sought to limit it, to remove some of its significant elements, thereby completely changing not only the structure of the world, but also the paradigm of human existence. And the Club of Rome has succeeded in this, though it is still not clear — for better or for the worse, whether the club acted as an independent actor or as an agent of some forces interested in redistributing world financial flows? Or even acted as a Marxist "historical necessity". In any case, it has influenced the thinking of intellectuals, economists and politicians of three generations.

The analysis of the Club of Rome global forecasting mode was carried out. A critical analysis of the Club of Rome activity was given. The purpose of the work is to establish the tasks of the food industry in solving the global problems of mankind. It is noted that the global crises (energy, ecology and food) are most clearly manifested in the food industry. To achieve this goal, a scientific and technical idea has been proposed that to solve the global problems the innovative technologies must be involved, which were not considered at all in the Club of Rome projects. The human development paradigm was formulated, considering the modern advances in science, technology, and nanotechnology. It was substantiated that the nanotechnology use in the food industry is attractive because the food raw materials are nano-sized structures created by nature. Local energy impact on nano-sized elements of the food raw materials can shorten the process time by the orders of magnitude. Such impacts are referred to as "nanoenergy technologies". The most significant result of the work was that the possibility was shown to control the development of the worst global crises by transferring the food industry onto the rails of the "nanoenergy technologies" and thus postpone the crises for another 10-40 years. The scientific significance of the obtained results was that such new effects as "barodiffusion" and "mechanodiffusion" were used in the work. The practical significance of the work was that a technological line for deep processing of food waste was proposed

The main stages of the formation of ecological paradigms of environmental management are considered, the fundamental role of V.V. Dokuchaev ideas and the importance of following V.I. Vernadskiy works in their development are shown. The role of scientists of the Club of Rome in the development of the ideology of sustainable development and its controversial perception by the world scientific community is reflected. The analysis of the existing paradigms, in particular of the co-evolutionary paradigm, and its implementation in the theory and practice of adaptive-landscape farming systems is given. The priority tasks for its improvement are defined. Further prospects for its development are considered in the framework of the proposed constructive-biospheric paradigm of environmental management, which implies the creation of a network of agricultural landscapes (agricultural, water, land reclamation, agro-industrial, rural forestry, livestock, residential) in compliance with the ecological status of the territory. The grouping of ecological functions of the landscape and mechanisms of their transformation into socio-economic functions are considered as tools for landscape-ecological planning and design.

The article considers political problems and current angles of views on the state and prospects of security. Human security is highlighted as a global problem. Its importance was confirmed by the COVID-19 pandemic that broke out in the world. The author pointed out the growing world’s complexity and the human lag in its understanding. It has led to the inclusion in the global agenda of the question how to bridge this “human gap”. Attention is drawn to the fact that the current paradigm of safety assurance, is not able to cope with the emerging threats to the existence of the contemporary civilization. It is suggested that the task of ensuring human security should be considered as an integral part of the global development agenda. The author analyzes Eurasian vector of development in the context of the global security problem. It is proposed to direct the efforts of scientists to the scientific discussion of this problem, including the scientific events held in this regard in Russia in cooperation with UNESCO, the World Academy of Art and Science and the Club of Rome.

After the Conference for Environment in Stockholm 1972 and the first report to the Club of Rome „Limits of the Growth“, which has been published in same year, was finally understood, that the technological progress can bring also undesired effects. As a consequence of the recognized situation, debates on a global level have started concerning potential solutions. After long debates on scientific as well as on sociopolitical levels, the concept of Sustainable Development has been defined in the Brundtland Report of the World Commission on Environment and Development, as a potential answer. Many actions after this time emphasize that the evolution of technical, economic, as well as environmental and social systems has to be approached by considering physical, chemical, biological, economic and social processes. Registered advances in technological field combined with the field of physics, as representing basics for developments and advances in nanotechnology have emphasized the existence of its multiple using odds also in environmental field. In particular, the application of carbon nanotubes, CNTs for environmental protection seems to bring advance in this field. A first step is represented by designing environmental sensors by using CNTs in order to carry out suitable environmental monitoring for environmental protection.
