In this chapter, considering the importance of spare parts inventory management in the equipment life cycle, the excellence models in spare parts supply chain management are reviewed, and MRO-MMM framework based on the MMM maintenance excellence model will be presented in eight steps. In this comprehensive framework, all necessary actions are considered in terms of maintenance excellence, improvement, and optimization spare parts management. The steps include compiling strategies, spare parts management policies, and related indicators; determining criticality, classification, and spare parts data management; data and procedure preparation for analysis of inventory management; optimization of inventory management system; supplier management; integrity of automation and information system; continuous improvement; and risk based and smarting inventory management. This framework has been used in various industries and proved that the implementation of the MRO-MMM framework will optimize and significantly improve spare parts management.

The emergence of "New Retail" produces a great impact on the inventory management of retail companies. Using ASY company as the study object, this paper calculates weights of factors affecting inventory management with the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) method to obtain the weight data of each factor before and after the New Retail appears. On this basis, it analyzes how New Retail affects the inventory management of ASY company. Besides, it offers optimization strategies and effect feedback indicators for the following problems faced by this company: pay less attention to delivery method and management system; poor incentive polices for employees; lay less stress on FMCG; too many goods are distributed by manufacturers; heavy workload; increased impact generated by fund restrictions; little knowledge about New Retail; make little efforts to improve employees' learning and innovation ability.

This research aimed to analyze the confirmatory factors and validate the compliance between the confirmatory factor structure of industrial inventory management optimization and empirical data. The sample were 500 industrial executives in Thailand. The research tool was a questionnaire, with a reliability value of 0.95. The data was analyzed with confirmatory factor analysis and second order confirmatory factor analysis. The results found that the factors of inventory management optimization comprised four factors based on the Deming Cycle, including Planning (Plan), Implementation (Do), Assessment (Check), and Improvement (Act). The findings of first order confirmatory factor analysis showed that all index values were over the criteria with a composition weight of 0.72-0.87 at a statistical significance level of 0.01. The second order confirmatory factor analysis showed that all index values were over the criteria with a composition weight of 0.86-0.91 at a statistical significance level of 0.01. The model was congruent with the empirical data. The results of model validation indicated the p = 0.46, CMIN/DF = 0.99, GFI = 0.99 and RMSEA = 0.00. The results of this research could be applied for further improvement of the efficiency of the organization's inventory management.

Actively launching industry-university-research cooperation projects in colleges and universities is an effective way to build an innovative country. The optimization of collaborative management of industry-university-research cooperation projects in colleges and universities determines whether scientific and technological achievements can be quickly transformed into real productive forces and whether the construction of an innovative country can be accelerated. Formulating scientific and reasonable policies, optimizing incentive strategies, risk management and benefit distribution, as well as optimizing personnel management, production management, and collaborative innovation knowledge management are conducive to improving the management efficiency of industry-university-research collaborative innovation and promoting the process of building an innovative country.

The way by which artificial intelligence is implemented is similar to the thinking process of the human brain. People obtain information about external conditions through five senses, namely, vision, hearing, smell, taste, and touch, and, through the further processing of the brain, it forms meaningful decision-making elements. Then, through the process of analysis and reasoning, further decisions are made. In the information age, the application of intelligent management information systems in various fields has promoted the modernization and intelligence of social development. From the perspective of intelligent decision-making, this paper analyzes the requirements of intelligent information systems and designs an intelligent information system based on mobile Internet management optimization, including system management optimization, and proposes an environment-based layer, network transport layer, and the three-tier system architecture of the smart service application layer. Finally, this paper considers the problem of data fusion after system expansion. According to the existing fuzzy fusion algorithm, a weight-based fuzzy fusion algorithm is proposed. The simulation analysis shows that the algorithm can be effectively applied in intelligent information systems.

Categorical management has been gaining great popularity in the world since the 2000s. In the domestic market, categorical management began to gain momentum only in 2015. Its advantages are obvious compared to the traditional management model, however, categorical management is not a universal solution to all problems. The data of enterprises show that only 6% of enterprises did not have a positive effect from the introduction of categorical management, the rest of the companies had: increased turnover, margins, average check, inventory turnover, increase in the number of customers and total profit. All this indicates that the problems of implementation of categorical management in domestic enterprises should be resisted and solved, because it will help increase their competitiveness. Among the main tasks of category management are: optimization and formation of the company's product range, selection and selection of strategies and business models for each of the product categories, the implementation of automation of category management and more. In the era of e-commerce, categorical management is becoming more popular thanks to online stores and social media stores, of which Instagram and Facebook are the most popular. Due to the division of the company's range into product categories, its time management also becomes more effective. Among the problems of implementation of categorical management at domestic enterprises are: lack of time, financial resources and qualified personnel; insufficient understanding of the mechanism of categorical management by employees, lack of a unified vision of integration into business processes; resistance of personnel to changes; lack of a single clear strategy and automated system; insufficient motivation of top management. There are criteria for the readiness of the enterprise to apply categorical management, namely: mastery of employees in the methodology of categorical management; optimization of organizational structure in accordance with the principles of categorical management, etc. According to these criteria, many domestic enterprises, especially small and medium-sized businesses, are not ready to implement this business category. There are also different concepts of categorical management: impulsive, target, seasonal, routine, competence. All these concepts have their own characteristics according to which the product can be classified. In the future, this facilitates the process of categorical management and not only that, which should serve as an incentive for the introduction of categorical management in domestic enterprises.
