The effectiveness of using the stabilizing additive StabOL for fixing the surface of overburden dumps has been studied. It was found that the average mass radius of supramolecular formations in the StabOL polymer solution is 593 nm. It was revealed that this polymer solution forms a high-quality film: transparent, homogeneous, without cracks and crystalline inclusions. The phase and granulometric compositions of overburden for the formation of organomineral aggregates of particles resistant to water and mechanical stress have been established. It is shown that the use of environmentally friendly polymer solution StabOL allows reducing the content of highly dispersed particles and is an effective way to protect dumping overburden from wind erosion.

Preparations of highly dispersed particles of trace elements are increasingly used in animal husbandry. This is determined by their extraordinary biological properties such as the ability to penetrate into tissues and organs, a high surface area, and so on. One of the promising directions for using highly dispersed particles both in the post-embryonic and embryonic periods of animal development is the use of trace elements as sources. This is determined by the relatively lower toxicity, higher bioavailability of elements from preparations of highly dispersed particles, which reduces the load on the environment and allows you to produce products enriched with minerals. The purpose of the research was to study the effect of highly dispersed drugs on rumen digestion, the composition of the rumen microbiome, metabolism and productivity of young cattle. A comprehensive assessment of the use of highly dispersed SiO2 and FeCo preparations in cattle nutrition has been provided in the paper. The digestibility of feed, metabolism, and productivity of young cattle when feeding highly dispersed particles have been studied. An unusual fact of increasing bacterial biomass when using highly dispersed particles of silicon dioxide in animal feeding has been described. A method for increasing the digestibility of feed components by ruminants through the use of highly dispersed FeCo alloy particles has been proposed. As follows from the data obtained the use of highly dispersed particles allowed to increase the live weight of experimental young animals to 413 kg in the 1st experimental group and 416 kg in the 2nd experimental group, which was by 11 (P ≤ 0,01) and 14 kg (P ≤ 0,01) higher than the control indicator. As follows from the analysis of the data obtained, the profitability of rearing young animals in the 1st and 2nd experimental groups was by 2,4 and 2,2 % higher than the same indicator calculated for the control group.

The aim of present study was to design an oil separator for the venting systems of gas turbine engines at consumption of gaseous medium 200 m3/h. In order to accomplish the objective, we applied separation gradient aerosol technologies, which consider all the forces and effects that influence deposition of the highly dispersed particles. A scientific base is substantiated for the intensification of gradient processes of the transfer of aerosol media in the boundary layers of multifunctional surfaces in the purification of dispersed polyphase flows for developing the technical devices that ensure an increase in energy saving and ecological improvement of power plants. We designed a section-by-section structural scheme and a three-dimensional model of the oil separator in finite elements for the calculation of hydrodynamics and separation. The calculations were conducted of the hydrodynamic situation and particle trajectory in the flow area of an oil separator. Using the calculated distribution of speed in the oil separator at G=100…200 m3/h, it was determined that velocity in the coagulation profile does not exceed 10 m/s. It was established according to the results of static pressure distribution for G=100, 200 m3/h that the pressure differential in the separation coagulators reaches 2.5…3.9 kPa, respectively. Results of the calculation at G=100…200 m3/h demonstrated that the summary pulsation effect from the deposition of highly dispersed particles amounts to 25.1 %. Based on the calculations, we designed the prototype of an oil separator and tested it experimentally on the test bench in the form of an open type wind tunnel. Coefficient of the total effectiveness of purification was determined, which reaches 99.9 %. The modernization of purifiers for capturing the aerosols in different systems of power plants is possible based on the separation gradient aerosol technologies. The studies conducted make it possible to develop in the future a range of separators for gas consumption from 20 to 2000 m3/h.

In the present work, a promising method was proposed for purification of fragments of animal bone tissue from high-molecular weight compounds in bi-phase media containing high-pressure CO2 for the first time, namely, in solutions of carbonic and peroxycarbonic acids. The effectiveness of this purification was confirmed by SEM and IR spectroscopy. It turned out that during the exposure of bone fragments in solutions of carbonic and peroxycarbonic acids under high pressure of CO2, the components of the mineral phase of bone tissue are also extracted, which allows to obtain highly dispersed particles of hydroxyapatite during the deposition of the extract. The structure and composition of the extracts were investigated by XRD analysis and SEM.
