International Classification of Headache Disorders (ICHD3) provides definition of headache disorders that can be used to construct a mathematical basis for headache classification. We seek to construct a theoretical framework for such a construction.Headache and facial pain conditions are interpreted as bundles of phenotypes. ICHD3 diagnoses are then defined as sets. We proceed to show that observations, in the form of theorems, can be proved with our set theoretic construction for the ICHD3.The all-present “not accounted for by another ICHD3 diagnosis” criterion must be removed in order for our system to be set theoretic consistent. Furthermore, our system can be used to construct a categorical approach to headache medicine in the tradition of category theory.Mathematical interpretation of ICHD3 is possible and may provide significant implication for understanding the structure and organization of headache diagnostic classification.

Stable operation of fuel cell air compressions is constrained by rotating surge in low flowrate conditions. In this paper, a diagnosis criterion based on wavelet transform to solve the surge fault is proposed. First of all, the Fourier transform was used to analyze the spectral characteristics of the outlet flowrate. Before wavelet transform was used, the data are standardized. This step eliminated the influence of the flowrate’s absolute value. Then, the wavelet coefficients under characteristic frequencies were extracted. Finally, the diagnosis criterion’s threshold, which indicates the surge occurrence, was defined from the perspective of safety margin. The criterion threshold alerted a surge only 1 s after it occurred. The analysis results show that the criterion meets with the expectation, and it can be used for the control of anti-surge valve.

Sexual minority individuals are diagnosed with borderline personality disorder (BPD) at higher proportions than heterosexual individuals regardless of presenting psychopathology. It is unclear if such bias is reflective of diagnostician idiosyncrasies or population-based diagnostic/criterion bias. Data from the National Epidemiologic Survey on Alcohol and Related Conditions–III were utilized to examine if differences in BPD endorsement were related to/independent of transdiagnostic factor differences between sexual minority and heterosexual individuals. BPD diagnosis/criterion endorsement was higher among sexual minority compared with heterosexual individuals (odds ratios = 1.47-3.82). Furthermore, when dysfunction/impairment associated with criterion endorsement was ignored, endorsement disparities were magnified. Diagnostic/criterion differences were mostly explained by transdiagnostic factor differences associated with sexual minority status, with some notable exceptions. These results suggest that the predilection toward BPD diagnosis among sexual minority individuals does not appear reflective of criterion-related bias. They further highlight the importance of understanding group-specific forms of psychiatric malaise and reinforce the importance of cultural humility for equitable assessment. These results further raise questions pertaining to the conceptualization and epistemology of BPD as it relates to sexual minority individuals.

In past several months, the worldwide outbreak of COVID-19 infection is unstoppable, which results in millions of people infected and thousands of people dead. However, there are still something controversial in the virus mechanism, the epidemiological feature and the diagnose criterion of COVID-19, while we also have some consensus. The structure of SARS-CoV-2, the pathogen of COVID-19, is roughly similar with other coronavirus such as SARS-CoV and bat-CoV, but by sequencing the amino acid, recombination of virus particles, and observation in Electron microscope, it is obvious to find the some slight difference between the protein of SARS-CoV-2 and others’. The spike protein of SARSCoV-2 has a stronger ability to binding ACE2 than SARS-CoV. The carrier of SARS-CoV-2 is just as other respiratory viruses, like droplet, aerosol and surface, and the fecal-oral transmission is proved to be an efficient pathway. In clinical practice, the elder and the patients with comorbidity are more susceptible to infection and have poorer prognosis, while pediatric patients is the very opposite of it. Nucleic acid test represented by RT-PCR is a helpful method for diagnose, yet it has weaknesses of false negative in suspicious patient and resurgence in discharge patient. Serological and immunological test, reported not suitable for diagnose alone in early period, can be another reliable method that benefit the accuracy of diagnosis criterion when combined with RT-PCR.

Atopic dermatitis, eczema, allergic dermatitis occupy the main place among dermatoses, where the allergic component is leading in the onset and development of the disease. The most common complication of allergic dermatitis is the attachment of a secondary pyococcus infection, which is associated with a decrease in the antimicrobial resistance of the skin surface. Therapy of infectious lesions is complicated by the increasing resistance of the main pathogens of pyoderma - Staphylococcus aureus and Staphylococcus epidermidis - to widely used antibiotics. The aim of the research: to determine the phenotypic features of staphylococci extracted from patients with allergic dermatitis to assess their pathogenic potential. Materials and methods. The object of the study was 369 staphylococcus isolates removed from affected and intact skin sections of patients with allergic dermatitis, as well as from representative skin sections of healthy individuals undergoing inpatient treatment at the Department of Dermatology of “Institute of Dermatology and Venereology of NAMS of Ukraine”. Biochemical identification and biological properties of staphylococci were determined using methods of classical bacteriology. Results. As a result of the conducted researches, it is established that the complex of phenotypic traits of the removed staphylococcus cultures indicates the presence in the pathogen of factors related to the resistance of the host protection mechanisms and determines the intensity of the alterative action of the infectant in relation to the host organism, the phenotypic manifestation of the studied factors was higher in the staphylococcus isolates removed from the affected skin areas of patients with allergic dermatitis. Conclusions. The level and frequency of phenotypic expression of pathogenicity factors are more pronounced in microorganisms obtained from patients from affected and intact areas compared to controls, which confirms their pathogenetic role in the burden of the disease, which in turn can be used as an auxiliary differential diagnosis criterion.

Aiming at the problem that the traditional diagnosis model is difficult to be established accurately, a fault diagnosis algorithm based on the fault diagnosis criterion is constructed to study the fault diagnosis of thermodynamic system based on the network model of internet of things. By analyzing the fault parameters of the equipment system, the algorithm establishes the fault matrix, calculates the mapping relation function corresponding to the states with unknown and known matrix, and obtains the optimal solution of the objective function. It solves the problem that the traditional diagnosis scheme is difficult to accurately diagnose the unknown model. By analyzing the cause and mechanism of the system fault, the diagnosis criterion of each kind of fault is determined. The fault matrix is established by calculation and judgment. The simulation experiment of gas path fault shows that the criterion of turbine blade mechanical damage fault is that the turbine efficiency is reduced by 5%, which is consistent with the theoretical analysis. This shows that the proposed algorithm is effective and the simulated data can be used as technical support for fault diagnosis of similar thermodynamic systems.
