Skills and information are the driving powers of financial development and social improvement of any country. They have become more significant given the increasing speed of globalization along with innovative modification. Nations related to higher as well as better degrees regarding skills change consist successfully with difficulties and option regarding globalization. The roles and duties of governments have been redefined by the winds of progress achieved by globalization. Notwithstanding, administration of globalization itself arose as a daunting assignment, given its mind-boggling interplay in different domains. The three main domains have been monetary, political, and social, with war and strategy included within the political trades. Notwithstanding various different difficulties emerging from globalization, dangers likewise changed in structure, setting, and degree.

Broken Homes, until very recently is very alien to the African family structure/setting. But it is discovered that the trend of Broken Homes is growing in the world all over and Africa is not left behind in this trend. One can deduce the growing trend of Broken Homes in Africa to the incursion of modernization and industrialization into the African family setup. The traditional African family is much knitted together with a lot of love bound. But with modernization and civilisation are fast becoming the order of the day in all sectors of daily life, family is not left behinIn Nigeria for instance, the existence of Broken Homes is unknown, and when they existed, they are ignored as exceptional cases. In Africa, no one is happy to be identified as being raised in a Broken Home. In order words, the pride of an average African Child is to be brought up in a family where the man and his dear wife are living together, loving each other and each one of them performing his/her social responsibility and obligation towards the raising of the children and the survival of the family at large. This research looked at how broken home has affected education of children in society today and proffered solutions on how the scourge could be contained in our society. The research is mainly literature and conceptual. Literature in this study was sourced mainly from secondary data like journals, books, and the views of other scholars in this field.

The current MOOC platform gradually enters the college classroom, which has a great impact on improving the quality and efficiency of classroom teaching in colleges and universities. This paper mainly introduces the meaning and content of MOOC and the related teaching mode, and introduces its development and characteristics. In view of the shortcomings of the current MOOC platform courses and the problems existing in the hybrid teaching, the two are fully combined to propose a hybrid teaching mode based on MOOC. This kind of teaching mode is discussed. Taking the college English class as an example, the analysis is carried out from the teaching object to discuss whether the teaching mode is in line with the current teaching development. From the aspects of curriculum structure setting, teaching resource construction and teaching design, it is analyzed how to implement this teaching mode better in the teaching of college English. Further guidance and optimization of MOOC application in college English teaching, and the application of MOOC-based hybrid teaching mode in teaching.

Model theory is the study of mathematical structures in terms of the logical relationships they define between their constituent objects. The logical relationships defined by these structures can be used to define topologies on the underlying sets. These topological structures will serve as a generalization of the notion of the Zariski topology from classical algebraic geometry. We will adapt properties and theorems from classical algebraic geometry to our topological structure setting. We will isolate a specific class of structures, called Zariski geometries, and demonstrate the main classification theorem of such structures. We will construct some Zariski structures where the classification fails by adding some noncommuting structure to a classical one. Finally we survey an application of these nonclassical Zariski structures to computation of formulas in quantum mechanics using a method of structural approximation developed by Boris Zilber.

The main sponge cake ingredients are flour, sucrose, eggs and leavening agents. Exogenous lipids (e.g., monoacylglycerols) are often used to increase air–liquid interface stability in the batter. There is a consumer trend to avoid foods containing such additives. We here reasoned that egg yolk may be an alternative source of surface-active lipids and set out to study the role of egg yolk lipids during sponge cake making. This was done by relocating or removing them prior to batter preparation using ethanol treatments and examining how this affects cake (batter) properties and structure setting during baking. Most egg yolk lipids occur within spherical low-density lipoproteins (LDLs) which were disintegrated by the ethanol treatments. Results showed that egg yolk lipids impact air–liquid interface stability and less so cake structure setting. To prepare high-quality sponge cakes by multistage mixing preferably intact LDLs or, alternatively, their components are needed to incorporate sufficient air during mixing and to stabilize it after mixing. It was also shown that the batter contains intact LDLs in the continuous phase and disintegrated LDLs at air–liquid interfaces. Sponge cake contains intact LDLs in the cake matrix, disintegrated LDLs at air–crumb interfaces and disintegrated LDLs incorporated into the protein network.

This chapter focuses on the harmonic and formal procedures found in rock’s verse sections. To begin, the chapter divides the category of verses into sectional verses—those that contain a complete harmonic structure ending with a cadence—and initiating verses—those that contain only the beginning of a harmonic structure, setting up a continuation in later sections. Sectional verses exhibit several common thematic layouts, including periods, srdc, twelve-bar blues, and small aaba, all of which have particular harmonic layouts. The chapter includes a discussion of refrains, in particular distinguishing them from choruses.

The paper studies the interaction between the building construction and composite-based soil with a view to determine its elastic properties affecting the structure deformation and internal forces. The soil model is assumed to be elastic, according to the Winkler coefficient calculated from the Kolosov stress decay function. The Galerkin numerical method used in calculations utilizes basic functions corresponding to the type of fixing the discontinuous and continuous structures. Unknown coefficients in linear combinations of basic functions are obtained via linear algebra methods, solving the system of equations. The force functions of the structure are found by derivation of the deflection function. Geological parameters are accepted to be real and matching the construction conditions of a large industrial warehouse of agricultural designation in the Pskov region, Russia. The soil effect on the flexural strength, shearing forces, and bearing reaction is estimated under the discontinuous and continuous structures at the available geological soil parameters. The structure setting on composite-based soils under the operating load is predicted herein.
