This new Journal of Clinical and Biomedical Investigation appears as an expression of the vertiginous and rapid advancements in worldwide in biomedical Sciences and Clinical Research. It will be an online indexed journal in major bibliographic databases and adhere to strict standards of editorial quality in a globalized academic scenario. Our main goal is to publish the most relevant original research and secondly to obtain the broadest possible visibility and the widest dissemination of their scientific contents. We will also publish preliminary research communications, review papers and postgraduate thesis and seminars highly recommended by their mentors or advisors. We will adopt the peer review system and we ask to the authors to send the address and email of three reviewers. The prestige of our journal will be measured by its impact factor and other recent emerging and alternative indicators of research performance. Due to its complex nature modern biomedical research has become increasingly inter- and transdisciplinary and collaborative scientific work. Educational researchers should describe concepts, study design and methods in order to provide transparency, clarity, appropriate ethic guidelines, and a constructive and critical approach. In such a way we can obtain a modern and updated perspective that allows the readers interested to study in depth this emerging field of biomedical research.

Abstract: Today, in spite of significant advances in cancer treatment has been made, however, breast cancer is still remains as one of the main health problem and considered as a top biomedical investigation urgency. The present study reviewed the common conventional chemotherapy agents and also some alternative and complementary approaches such as oncolytic virotherapy, bacteriotherapy, nanotherapy, immunotherapy, and natural products which are recommended for breast cancer treatment. In addition to current surgery approaches such as mastectomy, in recent years a number of novel techniques such as robotic mastectomies, nipple-sparing mastectomy, skin-sparing mastectomy, day-case mastectomy were used in breast cancer surgery. In this review, we summarize new insights risk factors, surgical and non-surgical treatments for breast cancer.

Admirable studies have been established on the utilization of ligand-materials as bimetallic nanoparticles in the field of nanoscience and biotechnology. UV-Vis, XRD, HR-TEM, STEM-HAADF, EDS, FTIR, and DPPH analyses characterized the optical, structural, compositional morphological, and antioxidant properties of synthesized Cu-Ag nanostructures. The spectrum of UV-Vis exhibited absorption bands at 590 and 413 nm, which reflects the surface plasmon resonance of copper-silver nanostructures. Herein, our exploration of alkylamine stabilized copper/silver nanostructures while using hexadecylamine as capping material and their primary biomedical investigation on antimicrobial and antioxidant studies is reported. Cu-Ag bimetallic nanostructures were more effective against gram-negative bacteria E. coli and Klebsiella when compared to gram-positive bacteria. The antioxidant activity of Cu-Ag nanoparticles was comparable with Ascorbic acid.
