Abstract: In Libya, there are a various barrier to developing e-commerce, and the COVID-19 pandemic has emphasised the importance of overcoming these hurdles in the shortest possible timeframe. This paper stems from a review of the studies which have focussed on the obstacles which preclude Libya reaping the benefits of e-commerce, at a time when many businesses are moving online, as a result of the lockdown introduced in response to COVID-19. This study has discussed and inspected the problems facing Libyan e-commerce. As a result of these problems, e-commerce has not taken hold in Libya or brought the country its considerable economic advantages. This paper suggests a range of recommendations which will contribute to adopt e-commerce in Libya and advance its popularity, among individuals, organisations and the government institutions, so that Libyan society can begin, and continue, to benefit from e-commerce.

Extracting entities from natural language text to design conceptual models of the entity relationships is not trivial and novice designers and students can find it especially difficult. Researchers have suggested linguistic rules/guidelines for extracting entities from natural language text. Unfortunately, while these guidelines are often correct they can, also, be invalid. There is no rule that is true at all times. This paper suggests novel rules based on the machine learning classifiers, the RIPPER, the PART and the decision trees. Performance comparison was made between the linguistic and the machine learning rules. The results shows that there was a dramatic improvement when machine learning rules were used.

Extensible Markup Language (XML) has become a significant technology for transferring data through the world of the Internet. XML labelling schemes are an essential technique used to handle XML data effectively. Labelling XML data is performed by assigning labels to all nodes in that XML document. CLS labelling scheme is a hybrid labelling scheme that was developed to address some limitations of indexing XML data.  Moreover, datasets are used to test XML labelling schemes. There are many XML datasets available nowadays. Some of them are from real life datasets and others are from artificial datasets. These datasets and benchmarks are used for testing the XML labelling schemes. This paper discusses and considers these datasets and benchmarks and their specifications in order to determine the most appropriate one for testing the CLS labelling scheme. This research found out that the XMark benchmark is the most appropriate choice for the testing performance of the CLS labelling scheme.

In this paper the femtocell base station called as Femtocell Access Point (FAP) was descriped and studied. The femtocell (FAP) is fully user deployed and hence reduces the infrastructure, maintenance and operational cost of the operator while at the same time providing good Quality of Service (QoS) to the end user and high network capacity gains. The surest way to increase the system capacity and data rates can be achieved efficiently in a wireless system by getting the transmitter and receiver closer to each other. In a network with nomadic users, this inevitably involves deploying more infrastructure, typically in the form of microcells, hotspots, distributed antennas, or relays. Femtocells deployed in the macrocell significantly improve the indoor coverage and provide better user experience. In this paper the four indoor propagation path loss models with simulated data for different scenarios at 2 GHz are presented In additions the Simulation were carried out in two different scenarios LOS and NLOS for max 50m femtocell and max 100m  macrocell network. The simulation results was implemented using Matlab code software.

Intestinal parasites have become one of the most important health problems for public health experts and decision-makers in many countries. In Zella city, the prevalence of intestinal parasites was not studied before, therefore, the current study was conducted to identify the intestinal parasites in Zella city. The data in this study was collected from the records of the central laboratory in Zella city over the period of time, from the beginning of 2015, till the end of 2019. A 839 samples were examined, and 728 samples were infected with parasites, which represent 87%. The results of the study revealed the presence of four types of intestinal parasites with different proportions as follows: Entamoeba histolytica by 65%, Ascaris lumbricoides by 24%, and Entamoeba coli by 10%, and Giardia lamblia by 0.7%. The results of the study also indicate that the infection rate of males and females were very close, 86% and 87%, respectively. The results of the current study also indicate that the single type infection pattern was the most common compared to the mixed parasite infection, 95%, and 5%, respectively. The study also shows that the percentage of intestinal parasites infection was higher during the autumn and spring seasons. Despite the increase in cultural and social awareness and the improvement of the living conditions of many families, the rate of intestinal parasites infection is still high, which requires more investigations.

Copper oxide nanoparticles are essential technology materials that are utilized as catalysts in the chemical industry, as well as in photonic and electronic devices and medical applications. Due to their applications in advanced technologies, we have concentrated on the production of CuO nanoparticles using enhanced, cost-effective, and environmentally friendly synthetic techniques. In this paper, we have presented a green synthesis technique to successfully synthesis copper oxide nanoparticles (CuO NPs) utilizing copper (II) sulfate pentahydrate (CuSO4.5H2O) as precursor salt and Mentha Piperita leaf extract as a reducing and stabilizing agent during the synthesis process. The precursor salt solution and reducing agent were mixed in a 1:1 volume ratio at 50 °C. The CuO NPs synthesized were confirmed by the characteristics Surface Plasmon Resonance (SPR) peak in the UV-visible region. Also, the optical direct band gap energy of the CuO NPs determined from the Tauc plot was 3.26 eV. The FTIR spectrum analysis confirmed existence of functional groups of polyphenols from Mentha piperita L. leaf extract, which are responsible for the reduction of Cu2+ ions and effective stabilization of CuO NPs. All the peaks observed in the XRD pattern revealed the production of CuO NPs having monoclinic structure with an average crystallite size of 42.51 nm. The surface morphology of the CuO nanoparticles was detected using SEM analysis. Further, the synthesis mechanism of CuO NPs has also been investigated.

Recently a large effort was spent on forecasting the outcome of sporting events. Due to forecasting perspective, the presence of competition introduces particular modeling challenges, which in turn limit the applicability of standard techniques. The objective of this study is to create a soccer team performance-forecasting model based on Artificial Neural networks that is capable of forecasting soccer players’ performance depending on teams’ history and behavior in previous matches as an input. The proposed model was trained and tested using a dataset including the features of Egypt Telecommunications club 15 years soccer team participating in the Egyptian Football Association Youth Dorian.  Simulation results indicated that the proposed model could be classified as a stable predication model especially for soccer team’s status and performance, achieving high accuracy rate up to 95%.

Pots culture experiment was conducted to evaluates the herbicidal potential of Eucalyptus spp. (aceae) on growth of Dactyloctenium aegyptium L. (Poaceae). Leaves extract with concentrations of 10, 20 and 40% of Eucalyptus plant were applied as soil and foliar application to seeds and seedlings of D. aegyptium species.  The result indicated that the application of Eucalyptus leaves extracts caused significant reduction in germination traits, root and shoot length, seedling fresh and dry weights. Also, the result revealed that the Inhibitory effect of Eucalyptus extract on D. aegyptium L was more noticeable in plant growth traits than on germination traits. Results show that among the different concentration of Eucalyptus leave extracts used in this study, 40% was the most toxic and caused the significant effect on germination and growth traits of Dactyloctenium aegyptium. Application of 40% of Eucalyptus leave extract decreased germination percentage by 30%, mean daily germination by 45%, shoot length by 38%. root length by 54%, number of branches by 61%, number of leavesby59%, seedling fresh weights by 23%, seedling dry weights by 62% and seedling vigor index by 60%. The results of this study concluded that the use of Eucalyptus plants have the potential to be developed further as a bio-herbicide system to control weed such as Dactyloctenium aegyptium L. However, more researches are needed to evaluate the negative impact of Eucalyptus on crop growth.

In this paper we consider a matrix Hypergeometric differential equation, which are special matrix functions and solution of a specific second order linear differential equation. The aim of this work is to extend a well known theorem on Hypergeometric  function in the complex plane to a matrix version, and we  show that  the asymptotic expansions of  Hypergeometric  function in the complex plane ” that are given in the literature are special members of our main result. Background and motivation are discussed.
