Zidan Jaya Motor is a company that serves the sale and purchase of used motorcycles, from various brands and types of motorcycles. The problem that is often encountered is the ineffectiveness of sales services in terms of time and effort because they still use manual data collection in the company's parent book. The purpose of this research is to design a web-based used motorcycle sales application. This sales information system planning uses the SDLC (system development life cycle) development method with the PHP (hypertext markup language) programming language. This sales application makes it easy for Zidan Jaya Motor to manage goods data, sales reports, optimize services and maintain company data security. With the support of human resources and computerized information systems.

eXtensible markup language (XML) appeared internationally as the format for data representation over the web. Yet, most organizations are still utilising relational databases as their database solutions. As such, it is crucial to provide seamless integration via effective transformation between these database infrastructures. In this paper, we propose XML-REG to bridge these two technologies based on node-based and path-based approaches. The node-based approach is good to annotate each positional node uniquely, while the path-based approach provides summarised path information to join the nodes. On top of that, a new range labelling is also proposed to annotate nodes uniquely by ensuring the structural relationships are maintained between nodes. If a new node is to be added to the document, re-labelling is not required as the new label will be assigned to the node via the new proposed labelling scheme. Experimental evaluations indicated that the performance of XML-REG exceeded XMap, XRecursive, XAncestor and Mini-XML concerning storing time, query retrieval time and scalability. This research produces a core framework for XML to relational databases (RDB) mapping, which could be adopted in various industries.

Using solid building models, instead of the surface models in City Geography Markup Language (CityGML), can facilitate data integration between Building Information Modeling (BIM) and Geographic Information System (GIS). The use of solid models, however, introduces a problem of model simplification on the GIS side. The aim of this study is to solve this problem by developing a framework for generating simplified solid building models from BIM. In this framework, a set of Level of Details (LoDs) were first defined to suit solid building models—referred to as s-LoD, ranging from s-LoD1 to s-LoD4—and three unique problems in implementing s-LoDs were identified and solved by using a semantics-based approach, including identifying external objects for s-LoD2 and s-LoD3, distinguishing various slabs, and generating valid external walls for s-LoD2 and s-LoD3. The feasibility of the framework was validated by using BIM models, and the result shows that using semantics from BIM can make it easier to convert and simplify building models, which in turn makes BIM information more practical in GIS.

Abstract This special issue of the Journal of Integrative Bioinformatics contains updated specifications of COMBINE standards in systems and synthetic biology. The 2021 special issue presents four updates of standards: Synthetic Biology Open Language Visual Version 2.3, Synthetic Biology Open Language Visual Version 3.0, Simulation Experiment Description Markup Language Level 1 Version 4, and OMEX Metadata specification Version 1.2. This document can also be consulted to identify the latest specifications of all COMBINE standards.

Game engine is software which ease the game development. As the processor power technology evolved and the HTML5 (HyperText Markup Language 5) specification are developed, browsers nowadays can natively (without any need for external plug-in) display animations and multimedia files (audio and video) using JavaScript as the programming language. Some of the features which are used in this research are HTML5‘s canvas and audio elements. The problem is that none of the existing free HTML5 game engines is able to support multiple canvas elements. This research will create a game engine, called AethelmE, which support multiple canvas elements as its unique feature. This game engine is also able to support sprite transformation, browsers compatibility, external asset loading, and audio format compatibility. This research successfully resulted in creating an HTML5 game engine which supports multiple canvas elements. It also supports all the scopes, with a small exception on sound format compatibility. Moreover, this research conducted a performance comparison testing of multiple HTML5 game engines, from which can be concluded that multiple canvas elements does not give significant performance gain compared to a single canvas.

Public campus has a mandate to saving of electrical energy. Electrical energy consumption is often wasteful in building. There is tendency wasteful by user. Electronic equipment is often still turn on at idle time. Only a few students want to turn off the equipment and shut down the computer. Saving of electrical energy is not only at idle time but it can be improved into operational hour. It is not depending on idle time or operational hours, but depends on human presence. Implementation of electrical energy saving has to be supported by frugal behavior and equipment technology. In this study, we name system of smart detection and control to electrical energy (Sisdece). This system is consist of hardware and software. Hardware applies passive infrared sensor (PIR) sensor, wireless sensor network (WSN), microcontroller ESP32, access point, relay. Software use C++, hypertext preprocessor (PHP), hypertext markup language (HTML) and android studio. Result of measurement has been done in a month during November 2020. Average of energy saved is 12.51 kWh and total of electrical energy is 105.86 kWh. Comparison of energy saved to electrical energy is 11.81%. This is a significant reduction to electrical bill. The result is expected as benchmark of electrical energy management in Politeknik Negeri Medan (POLMED).

Studying the harmonic structures of a musical work and exploring its origins is one of the main tasks of traditional musicology. Since the advent of computer technologies, new tools for musical analysis emerged to gain new perspectives on well-known compositions. In the field of digital musical editions, the markup language MEI (Music Encoding Initiative) plays a prominent role for encoding musical notation with a musicological demand. This paper presents the current state of the project "Digital Music Analysis with MEI using the Example of Anton Bruckner's Compositional Studies". Its aim is to encode the "Kitzler Study book" written by Bruckner and to present it in a digital Edition. Also, the project explores the capability of MEI for an automatic or half-automatic harmonic analysis.

Background: As the standard for the exchange of data over the World Wide Web, it is important to ensure that the eXtensible Markup Language (XML) database is capable of supporting not only efficient query processing but also capable of enduring frequent data update operations over the dynamic changes of Web content. Most of the existing XML annotation is based on a labeling scheme to identify each hierarchical position of the XML nodes. This computation is costly as any updates will cause the whole XML tree to be re-labelled. This impact can be observed on large datasets. Therefore, a robust labeling scheme that avoids re-labeling is crucial. Method: Here, we present ORD-GAP (named after Order Gap), a robust and persistent XML labeling scheme that supports dynamic updates. ORD-GAP assigns unique identifiers with gaps in-between XML nodes, which could easily identify the level, Parent-Child (P-C), Ancestor-Descendant (A-D) and sibling relationship. ORD-GAP adopts the OrdPath labeling scheme for any future insertion. Results: We demonstrate that ORD-GAP is robust enough for dynamic updates, and have implemented it in three use cases: (i) left-most, (ii) in-between and (iii) right-most insertion. Experimental evaluations on DBLP dataset demonstrated that ORD-GAP outperformed existing approaches such as ORDPath and ME Labeling concerning database storage size, data loading time and query retrieval. On average, ORD-GAP has the best storing and query retrieval time. Conclusion: The main contributions of this paper are: (i) A robust labeling scheme named ORD-GAP that assigns certain gap between each node to support future insertion, and (ii) An efficient mapping scheme, which built upon ORD-GAP labeling scheme to transform XML into RDB effectively.
