Mathematical communication skills are important in mathematics learning, thus it is expected that the application of Student Facilitator and Explaining learning methods can improve the mathematical communication skills of prospective Mathematics Students at IAIN Palopo. This research is a classroom action research (CAR) with 35 subjects. Data is taken using essay tests and presentation rubrics. Descriptive statistical analysis is the analytical technique used in this study. The results showed that the average score of mathematical communication skills was 69.35 with a percentage of completeness 48.69% in the first cycle and an average of 77.05 with a percentage of completeness of 85.70% in the second cycle and could be categorized as complete classically. The percentage results of the rubric also show a significant increase marked by the frequency of prospective teachers who have been able to convey ideas and concepts in detail and correctly

The main problem in this study is the lack of learning motivation of students in the implementation of learning in social studies subjects in class III SDN 50 Bulu 'Datu, which amounts to 23 students. Sources of data in this study were obtained directly from students and teachers of class  III SDN Bulu’ Datu. Data collection techniques are carried out using observation, tests, interviews, and documentation. Data processing and analysis techniques used are analysis quantitative data and qualitative data. The results showed that: with the application of the crossword puzzle media the students' learning outcomes each cycle had increased. Based on student learning outcomes test of class III SDN Bulu’ Datu conducted in two cycles shows that the learning outcomes of students have increased, from cycle 1 the average value is 88 with a percentage of 100% completeness, while cycle II has an average score of 93 with a percentage of 100% and has met the KKM which is 70. Thus the results of this study can be concluded that, using the medium of crossword puzzles on social studies subjects can improve student learning outcomes.

This study aims to improve the activities and learning outcomes of Class III Science through the application of the Explicit Instruction model to Grade III students of SDN 09 Mattekko, Bara Subdistrict, Palopo City. This research is a classroom action research (PTK) and those who acted as research subjects were 26 students. Data collection techniques are carried out through observation, documentation and tests. Data analysis conducted in this study is descriptive analysis, namely data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The results showed that: 1) By applying the Explicit Instruction model was able to increase the activity and learning outcomes of Class III Science in SDN 09 Mattekko, Bara District, Palopo City. 2) Using the Explicit Instruction model in science learning is done in stages, namely three cycles experiencing a significant increase in which the learning activities of students in the first cycle are categorized as "sufficient" from the percentage value of 66.66% with the average value of the results. learning by 63, in the second cycle observation of student learning activities categorized as "Good" from the percentage value of an average of 77.15% with an average value of learning outcomes of 77.08, and in the third cycle observation of student learning activities is categorized as "Good" from the percentage value of an average of 87.25% with an average value of learning outcomes of 82.8. Thus, the Explicit Instruction model needs to be used as a reference by the teacher in learning to improve the activities and learning outcomes of science in elementary schools, especially SDN 09 Mattekko, Bara District, Palopo City.

This study aims to determine the improvement of poetry writing skills by using natural media around fifth grade students at SDN 05 Riwang, Larompong District, Luwu District. This research is a classroom action research consisting of two cycles with the stages of Planning, Implementation, Observation and Reflection. The subject of this research is the fifth grade students in the odd semester of 2017/2018 school year with 20 students. Sources of data in this study are primary data and secondary data. Data collection tests were carried out using interviews, observations, and tests of processing techniques and data analysis used, namely quantitative data analysis and qualitative data analysis. The results of the study showed that the use of natural media around the poetry of natural beauty has increased each cycle. which carried out as many as two cycles showed that the completeness of student learning outcomes, Indonesian subjects poetry material of natural beauty has increased, the average value in cycle I was 75 with completeness 80%, and increased in cycle II which is 95 with 100% completeness, It can be concluded that, using natural media around will help a teacher in carrying out learning activities and students will be easier to understand, so that students at SDN 05 Riwang, Larompong District, Luwu Regency, can improve learning outcomes.

This study aims to improve science learning outcomes in the style material of fifth grade students of Yaminas Loppe Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Luwu Regency. The study was a type of Classroom Action Research (CAR) conducted in class V of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Yaminas Loppe in Bupon Subdistrict, Luwu Regency with a total of 15 students. Data collection techniques used are observation, learning outcome tests, documentation. The results of this study indicate that the application of the demonstration method in science subjects style material can improve student learning outcomes of class V. This is shown through the acquisition of observations of student and teacher activities and test results that indicate an increase. The results of observation of student activities increased from 76.51 in the first cycle to 92.42 in the second cycle. Likewise, the observation of teacher activities also increased from 80 in the first cycle to 93.33 in the second cycle. Both the first and second cycle categories increased from good to very good. While the average test results increased from 61 included in the less category in the first cycle to 75.67 included in the sufficient category in the second cycle. Thus, indicators of success in research on classroom action are achieved. Thus by applying the demonstration method can improve science learning outcomes in elementary schools, especially material style material.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: 1) Mengetahui tindakan penerapan metode Stuktural Analitik Sintetik (SAS) dalam keterampilan menulis permulaan pada siswa kelas I SDN 61 Tondok Alla Kecamatan Telluwanua Kota Palopo) dan; 2) Mengetahui apakah penerapan metode Stuktural Analitik Sintetik (SAS) dapat meningkatkan keterampilan menulis permulaan. Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dilakukan di kelas I SDN 61 Tondok Alla Kecamatan Telluwanua Kota Palopo. Teknik pengumpulan data yang dilakukan melalui metode observasi, dokumentasi, dan tes. Analisis data yang dilakukan dalam penelitian ini secara analisis deskriptif  yaitu reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1) Dengan Penerapan metode Struktur Analitik Sintetik (SAS) mampu meningkatkan keterampilan menulis permulaan siswa kelas I; 2) Dengan menggunakan metode Struktur Analitik Sintetik (SAS) dalam pembelajaran menulis permulaan dilakukan secara bertahap yaitu dua siklus mengalami peningkatan yang cukup signifikan dimana siswa pada siklus I dikategorikan ‘Cukup’  dari nilai rata-rata sebesar 66,6 dan pada Siklus II meningkat dengan kategorikan ‘ Sangat Baik’ dari nilai rata-rata sebesar 81,1. Dengan demikian metode Struktur Analitik Sintetik (SAS) perlu dijadikan referensi oleh guru dalam kegiatan pembelajaran keterampilan menulis permulaan di sekolah dasar

This study aims to determine the implementation of scramble type cooperative learning models and to find out the learning interests of students who apply the model and to know the supporting factors and obstacles to the implementation of scramble type cooperative learning models in increasing student interest in social studies in Grade III Islamic Elementary School Datok Sulaiman Palopo. This study uses a type of qualitative descriptive research carried out in class III Islamic Elementary School Datok Sulaiman Palop. Data collection techniques used were observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of a scramble type cooperative model makes students directly active in learning activities
