Various industrial, scientific and commercial processes involve wireless mesh networks in the recent days. These technologies improve communication technology to a large extent which has led to an increase in utilization of these systems in various fields. In application with intense and complex data flow, improving the quality of service (QoS) has been a challenge and a focus of research leading to more advanced wireless communication systems. This paper provides a novel optimization algorithm for improving the QoS in hybrid wireless networks while preventing malware and routing attacks. The concept of QoS and hybrid wireless networks are examined at the initial stage. Further, the algorithm for optimizing the service quality in the network is proposed accordingly. The ability of data transfer is benefited by data packets in this algorithm. Load distribution is performed such that overcrowding is prevented and information routing is done efficiently though the nodes. Delay or routing is created and control messages are sent for withholding data when certain nodes are overcrowded. This reduces the delay created by overcrowding by 50% while maintaining the permittivity.

Femtocells have been regarded as low-power and low cost devices for enhancing the capacity and performance of mobile cellular networks. Apart from forming a two-tier network with the macrocell to offload traffic from the macrocell, femtocells can be deployed in an urban area to achieve more data rate with better Quality of Service (QoS). However, this is at the expense of increased frequency of the handover of the UEs from one femtocell to another femtocell. Selecting a particular femtocell for handover is a serious challenge in a femtocell/macrocell deployment environment. Similarly, managing the resulting handovers can be extremely difficult. Thus, this study presents an algorithm to improve handover in LTE-A femtocell network. The complexity of the algorithm was determined and the performance by comparing it with existing algorithm in terms of number of handovers and the ratio of target femtocells. The results have shown that the proposed algorithm outperformed the existing algorithm.

PT Telkom Sampit is one part of PT Telekomunikasi Indonesia (Persero) Tbk (Telkom) which contributes in meeting the communication and information needs of the community. PT Telkom Sampit provides several product services, namely Wifi.id, IndiHome and UseeTV. Thus, Telkom Sampit must provide good services in managing services. As for some of the obstacles that often occur including problems, slow and damaged. From these problems, it is necessary to measure the level of service improvement at PT Telkom Sampit using the COBIT 5 framework focusing on the domains DSS02 (Managing Service Requests) and DSS03 (Managing Problems). Based on research that has been done PT Telkom Sampit is at level 4, namely Predictable Process, which is included in a good level for a company, although it is not in accordance with estimates that should be at level 5, namely Optimizing Process (Optimization Process). With this research, it is hoped that it can be used as an evaluation in improving the quality of service performance at PT. Telkom Sampit in serving customers.
