In connection with the innovations, the existing problems of the safety of water transport are aggravated. Attention is drawn to the fact that the existing water transport safety system does not take into account geographical, technological and sectoral factors. The implementation of the concept of transport security in water transport raises many questions that determine the existence of the industry.

In order to guarantee out-of-gauge freight transport safety, it is necessary to study digital measurement to improve measuring accuracy for out-of-gauge goods which is very difficult to master outline dimension. The process of edge detection and the algorithm of canny operator edge detection were introduced in this paper. Taking the transformer for example, contour extraction was carried out on the end and the widths of transverse and longitudinal height are measured through the mathematical software MATLAB. Finally, measurement results are validated based on the known data. The results showed that canny operator has high calculate precision, and the closer to the part calibrated with pixel calibration, smaller the measurement errors are.

Mitigation action towards aviation occurrence in Indonesia, according to number of aviation accident of the National Transport Safety Commitee, have not been showing a significant results. It can be caused by two things. First, the continuous development of aviation knowledge and technology. Second, the gaps between knowledge and skills that acquired during training phases and those required in the working environment This research is aimed to identify these gaps. The lack of understanding of Air Traffic Controllers on the concept of separation and how to implement it, minimum English speaking skills, and no training on RNA V and RNP are findings related to training solution. Whilst the malfunction of communication and monitoring devices, and no callibration to those devices are findings related to non-training solution.

Abstract The increase in public transportation in the last decade has resulted in a larger pedestrian population and hence a larger number of pedestrian collisions. In the past, car-pedestrian accident prevention had been a challenge for automotive and transport safety members. Recent reports in car-pedestrian accidents have influenced many improvements to prioritize pedestrian protection for automotive industries. The number of pedestrian fatalities in U.S has raised in last decade proportionally, Car manufacturers, and transport investigation teams are implementing new product designs and adding new development methods to reduce the risk of pedestrian collisions. In this study, adult headform and upper legform is tested with a finite element vehicle model to examine the simulation results and injury behavior during impact. All finite element simulation tests are produced under Euro-NCAP Committee regulations. Finite element models are configured as per the regulation’s and testing criteria. Both upper legform impactor and adult headform finite simulation results are tested with assessing criteria limits. Finite simulation tests are carried on the LS-DYNA – Code platform. This comparative study between sedan and pickup finite vehicle models gives an injury risk prediction of pedestrian safety and assesses design parameters of automotive industries.
