 AbstractVortex of globalization necessitates a school establishes certain advantages and challenges of the proliferation of educational institutions, if private schools are not improving the human resource and does not indicate a particular advantage innovations from other schools will be degraded public trust. A school principal requires a model of leadership in creating a level of trust and quality of academic services that exceed the expectations of internal and external school school. School leadership puts the organization a competitive advantage as a core value as the value inherent in a school community. The competitive advantage of the organization is how the organization creates value service performance advantages of low cost and product differentiation. Two such approaches are needed schools that want to deliver maximum quality academic services and demonstrate excellence by means of efficiency. The goal is to assess school leadership based on core values, characteristics of quality implementation in schools and the implementation of the concept of quality assurance systems. Three objectives are based on research and discussion of literature that leadership with the guarantee is related to the value system that was built through the vision that inspired each school community. The vision of leadership based on values ​​that are mutually agreed upon has spawned a school of excellence amidst the proliferation of educational institutions. Educational institutions are not seen as a social investment, but the institution has become a noble industry. Based on the explanation, the leadership of principals need to have different perspectives on quality assurance paradigm is very different between the service field service with the service areas of goods. The objective of this research is to gain a deep understanding of the implementation of internal audit for school quality assurance at 30 junior high school  Jakarta, held from November 2011 to August 2012. The data were collected through participant observation using interview, observation, document study, and recording. The data validity obtained through the extension of time doing research, triangulation and member check. The data anylisis obtained through collecting data, display and reducing with make comparing to concept and theories to make conclusion and interpretation of data as result of research findings.The result of data anylisis and interpretation indicates that the success of quality assurance relates to (1) quality policy with quality objectives which refers to vision, mission and customer requirement, (2) there are values developed in the same breath with school values combined with personal value held by the auditor to carrying out responsibilities (3) there is school leadership role in internal audit at the stage of implementation, supervision and decision making. The finding lead to the recommendation to practice the best implementation for other school based on the success of 30 Junior High School in quality assurance with commitment from all components of school to pay attention to the quality objectives as the focus of all the activities carried out.

Abstract The techniques of performing a tracheostomy has transformed over time. Percutaneous tracheostomy is gaining popularity over open tracheostomy given its advantages and as a result the number of bedside tracheostomies has increased necessitating the need for a Percutaneous Tracheostomy Program. The Percutaneous Tracheostomy Program at the Johns Hopkins Hospital is a comprehensive service that provides care to patients before, during, and after a tracheostomy with a multidisciplinary approach aimed at decreasing complications. Education is provided to patients, families, and health-care professionals who are involved in the management of a tracheostomy. Ongoing prospective data collection serves as a tool for Quality Assurance.

In dieser Studie zur Qualitätssicherung in der Prophylaxe und Therapie des Dekubitus durch Auflagedruckmessungen bei Probanden auf sechs Weichlagerungs- und fünf Wechseldrucksystemen war die Zielsetzung, eine Ist-Analyse der am Klinikum eingesetzten Antidekubitushilfsmittel durchzuführen. Außerdem galt es herauszufinden, ob die angewandte Methode der pneumatischen Druckmessung mit Probanden auch im Versorgungsalltag verwendbar ist. Können verlässliche und valide Messdaten erwartet werden, wenn man bei betroffenen Patienten Messungen durchführt? Zur Beantwortung dieser Fragen wurden bei 23/19 Probanden, auch in Seitenlage, durch das Platzieren von Messmatten zwischen Körper und unterschiedliche Antidekubitussysteme Messungen durchgeführt. Bei den Weichlagerungssystemen kann an allen Messorten eine signifikante Druckreduzierung (p < 0,05), am Os coccygis eine hochsignifikante Druckreduzierung (p < 0,01) nachgewiesen werden. Bei den Wechseldrucksystemen liegt der Mittelwert der maximalen Druckbelastung über 12 min bei unterschiedlicher Amplitude (75,47 mmHg–5 mmHg) und verschiedener Frequenz (1,5 min–10 min) zwischen 56,39 mmHg und 38,94 mmHg.
