Authors explore issue of applicability of the methodology of building diagnostic software using network formal models in the functional testing of electronic equipment as part of complex technical systems. Using methods of system analysis allows to perform a decomposition of interdependent subsystems and to reveal basic acts of interaction between the control‑verification equipment and the object of diagnosis. Mathematical apparatus of Petri nets should be employed for the formalized description of such acts and determined the cause‑and‑effect relations in the diagnosed complex system`s processes. Network models properties studying (such as safety and accomplishment of the final positions) allows us to move to the test object`s algorithm`s developing. The article presents an approach of a formalized description for basic acts of interaction between the diagnosis system and the object.

The article proposes an approach to improving the structure and parameters of complexes for the organization of cargo exchange of piggyback trains using the approach of complex system optimization. The object of study - the process of piggyback transport, methods and approaches to increase its efficiency and speed. The purpose of the work is to determine the methods of improving the efficiency of piggyback transportation and their flexibility in order to adapt its parameters to the needs of customers. Synthesis of methods to increase the flexibility of the piggyback transport system while maintaining consistently high rates of carrying capacity and speed of goods delivery. Research method - system analysis and complex structural-parametric optimization. The organization of piggyback transportation is one of the elements of improving the efficiency and balance of the country's transport system. From the point of view of customer needs, the piggyback system should be flexible, while providing conditions for high transport capacity and speed. To do this, it is necessary to solve a number of problems that would allow the exchange of piggyback trains on the way, without allowing the deterioration of other parameters of the system - mainly performance and speed. The most effective approach to solving these problems is to use the methodology of directed synthesis of complex systems. The peculiarity of this methodology is that it allows you to reach the predefined parameters of a complex system. The synthesized structure of the terminal to ensure highly efficient high-speed freight exchange in the organization of piggyback transport allows piggyback freight exchange at intermediate stations of their route in a minimum time without significantly reducing the route speed and carrying capacity of the system. KEYWORDS: PIGGYBACK TRANSPORTATION, FREIGHT TERMINALS, DIRECTED SYNTHESIS OF SYSTEMS.

An ontological approach to solving the problem of knowledge representing about modeling modern organizational and technical control systems is considered. The purpose of this work is to form a model of the subject area of modeling a complex system in the field of public administration. The subject of system analysis is the assessment of the effectiveness of the functioning of a complex control system, considered as a separate object in the system modeling. The following are presented: the structure of the methodological support of the system under consideration and its composition, including the modeling methodology, the efficiency assessment methodology and the concept of support for the development and implementation of the system to support the choice of optimal parameters of the system functioning; the structure of the modeling methodology, including the system concept of assessing the effectiveness and the concept of describing the multi-level structure of a complex system; domain model for modeling and evaluating the effectiveness of a complex system. The model includes descriptions of a complex control system, activities for the design and assessment of the management system, development of a decision support system. The novelty of the proposed approach lies in its ability to impart a purposeful character to the activity of modeling a complex system with certain characteristics and logical structure, as well as in the ability to highlight essential objects of real relations in the practice of design and to present knowledge for the joint work of specialists in computer modeling of expert activity.

Methods for obtaining, analyzing and processing expert information in the system of the agro-industrial complex are of great and ever increasing importance. Moreover, the subsystem of expert information is constantly evolving as a result of the qualitative growth of information and communication technologies and the improvement of the methodological and methodological apparatus of organizing and conducting examinations. Nevertheless, the potential and aggregate possible subsystems of expert information are not used effectively enough due to various reasons, both objective and subjective. The main purpose of the expert information subsystem is to organize and conduct examinations that ensure a high professional level of decision-making in the system of the agro-industrial complex at different levels of management. The research methodology is based on the selective application of system analysis methods aimed at studying complex objects and processes of the agro-industrial complex system, with the predominant use of expert assessment methods. In the process of the first stage of the study of the expert and information subsystem of the agro-industrial complex, based on the method of passive examination in the context of the agricultural digitalization project, a digraph of the structure of the problem field of digitalization was developed, which clearly reflects the interconnections and interactions of individual structural elements of the agro-industrial complex. A scheme for a multistage examination of the problem of digitalization of the regional system of the agro-industrial complex has been developed, an algorithm has been developed for the subsystem of expert information of the agro-industrial complex in the form of a tree-like digraph, reflecting the functional structure of the subsystem. This will allow in the future, with the active use of the developed algorithm for the optimal functioning of the subsystem of expert information of the agro-industrial complex, to ensure high efficiency of the decisions made and the transition to cognitive models of system control.
