In China, closed caption is the latest technology standard separating the caption from the image. In current digital television system, it is an urgent issue to be resolved that how to implement the real-time transmission of closed caption with its host video. This paper proposed a kind of closed caption and its representation method. It also designed a closed caption data structure based on XML and provided a solution about how to package XML file and XML Schema file into MXF files.

An embedded positioning system, which can be applied to seismic exploration, is designed. Meeting the characteristics of field work and the instantaneity of data transmission, the system is composed by the positioning terminals and supplemented by earthquake decision-making experts and monitoring center. With the style of mobile phone message and monitoring center, the real-time transmission and query of positioning data are mobile.

In order to meet the flexibility and real-time of the remote ECG monitoring system and other application requirements, a design proposal of a remote real-time ECG monitoring system based on 3G chip is presented in this paper. ARM9-based embedded control chip S3C2440 is chosen as the core and 3G module SIM5218 embedded TCP / IP protocol stack is used to transmit ECG data of the system which has functions of displaying the real-time ECG waveform and alarming. Thus, the real-time transmission of the large ECG data from the user to the monitoring center has been accomplished in this system. The research of the system provides convenience for the timely rescue of patients with cardiovascular disease.

A new practical fault location algorithm using two-terminal electrical quantities is presented in this article, which takes into account the distributed parameter line model. The analytical expression of algorithm derives from Three-Phase decoupling. First, an analytical synchronization of the unsynchronized measurements is performed with use of the determined synchronization operator and the non-synchronizing angle is calculated with the two-terminal pre-fault electrical quantities. Then, the real-time transmission line parameters are calculated using two-terminal non-synchronized electrical quantities and the non-synchronizing angle. The algorithm overcomes the drawbacks of the traditional fault location algorithms, which does not exist the pseudo-root problem. Besides, it has the advantages of simple, practical, litter computation, no need to search and iterative and robustness. The algorithm has not influenced by fault types, the transition resistance and other factors. At last the developed fault location algorithm is tested using signals of ATP-EMTP versatile simulations of faults on a transmission line.

This paper presents a high-speed and multi-thread-safe transmission based on the universal parallel port (uPP) of OMAPL138 and Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA).With the aid of I/O module used with IOM mini-drivers (GIO module) under DSP/BIOS and internal direct memory access (DMA), this system can obtain a high momentary speed at 300MB/s. This system is designed for the real-time transmission of spectrum data and raw time-domain data which are most important data for monitoring the wireless frequency resource. The real-time transmission of spectrum data has been applied in a spectrum monitoring receiver.

This paper probes the design and realization of the real-time transmission system of computer screen based on intranet and its focus problem is on screen catch and dynamic image real-time transmission by VC++. This system is able to realize loads balance and minor resource occupancy, so it is especially useful to multi-network classroom teaching.
