In order to solve the problem of degumming and short yarn of the hemp fiber, this paper mainly research the relationship between hemp fiber disintegration degree and its chemical composition. Then discuss how the contents of pectin, hemicellulose, cellulose and lignin in hemp fiber could affect the hemp fiber disintegration degree. Calculate and analysis the four factors’ affection degree by Grey Relational Analysis, and build four mathematical models between hemp fiber disintegration degree and each of its content at last. This paper makes a contribution to provide the theoretical basis to the degumming process of hemp fiber and the selection of spinning material.

Stakeholders are responsible for implementing the occupational health and safety provisions in an organization. Irrespective of organization, the role of safety department is purely advisory as it coordinates with all the departments, and this is crucial to improve the performance. Selection of safety officer is vital job for any organization; it should not only be based on qualifications of the applicant, the incumbent should also have sufficient exposure in implementing proactive measures. The process of selection is complex and choosing the right safety professional is a vital decision. The safety performance of an organization relies on the systems being implemented by the safety officer. Application of multi criteria decision-making tools is helpful as a selection process. The present study proposes the grey relational analysis(GRA) for selection of the safety officers in an Indian construction organization. This selection method considers fourteen criteria appropriate to the organization and has ranked the results. The data was also analyzed by using technique for order Preference by Similarity to an Ideal solution (TOPSIS) and results of both the methods are strongly correlated

The weight of evaluation objectives has not been given the corresponding consideration when solving the correlation degree by taking traditional grey relation analysis and it is with a lot of subjective factors, easily lead to mistakes in decision-making on program. To solve this problem, making decision by taking grey relational analysis based on distance analysis is proposed in this paper, and make the evaluation more fit reality, the result of decision-making more effective and scientific. Finally, the proposed method is indicated that is feasible and effective by case analysis.
