The modified decomposition method (MDM) is improved by introducing new inverse differential operators to adapt the MDM for handling third-order singular nonlinear partial differential equations (PDEs) arising in physics and mechanics. A few case-study singular nonlinear initial-value problems (IVPs) of third-order PDEs are presented and solved by the improved modified decomposition method (IMDM). The solutions are compared with the existing exact analytical solutions. The comparisons show that the IMDM is effectively capable of obtaining the exact solutions of the third-order singular nonlinear IVPs.

The increasing number of traffic accidents can be caused by drivers, vehicles, highways, and the environment. In Indonesia, traffic accidents become one of the problems in the transportation sector. Prevention is done during this time to anticipate accidents only based on the data of the accident quantity that has occurred. Though factors or incidents that can cause accidents to become the biggest contributor in the event of accidents. For example, driving a vehicle in an unorderly manner, the pace of the vehicle with the above-average velocity set traffic rules, and sudden vehicle maneuvers. This research is done by identifying and analyzing the behavior of motorcyclists who affect accidents and applying TCT methods to observation data at points that become potential locations Against accidents. The research location is on the Narogong Highway which is divided into 2 segments. In Segment 1 begins at junction four Cipendawa (after the flyover Simpang Cipendawa) until the junction of the three Gg. Sawo (Bantar Gebang Market). Next, in Segment 2 starts from junction three of Gg. Sawo (Bantar Gebang Market) until the three houses of Vida housing. The results showed that the research location had potential that could cause the accident to be front-side on the first order, collision front-front on the second-order, and side-by-side collision on the third order. The speed of vehicles has an impact on accidents.

This paper discusses ambisonic sound design for a theatrical production of King Lear. Sound, and its use in theatre, has taken a back-seat in comparison to the development of other theatre technologies such as lighting, projection and automation in recent years. Spatial audio implementations in theatre give the sound designer and the artistic team much greater scope for creativity, along with improvements in source separation and intelligibility of sources due to spatial unmasking. A 360 degree video was also recorded, with first and third order ambisonic binaural reproductions of the sound design stitched on to the video to create a virtual reality experience. The project was successful, whilst highlighting some practical and perceptual limitations in spatial audio for theatre.

In research, experiments must be performed at pre determined levels of the controllable factors, meaning that an experimental design must be selected before the experiment takes place. Once an experimenter has chosen a polynomial model of suitable order, the problem arises on how best to choose the settings for the independent variables over which he has control. A particular selection of settings or factor levels at which observations are to be taken is called a design. A design may become inappropriate under special circumstances requiring an increase in factors or levels to make it more desirable. In agriculture for instance, continuous cultivation of crops may exhaust the previously available mineral elements necessitating a sequential appendage of the mineral elements which become deficient in the soil over time. In current study, an eighty  points four  dimensional  third order rotatable design is constructed by combining two, four dimensional second order rotatable  designs and a practical hypothetical case study is given by converting coded levels to natural levels. We present an illustration on how to obtain the mathematical parameters of the coded values and its corresponding natural levels for a third order rotatable design in four dimensions by utilizing response surface methodology to approximate the functional relationship between the performance characteristics and the design variables.  This design permits a response surface to be fitted easily and provides spherical information contours besides the economic use of scarce resources in relevant production processes.
