Seat belt syndrome happens when a car meets an accident and person sitting in the car with seat belt on gets abdominal injuries typically, seat belt mark with intestinal injuries and factures of ribs and lumber spine. The abdominal injuries are usually intestinal perforations. Doctor seeing the motor vehicle accident must keep in mind seat belt syndrome while examining. As the traffic rules are getting enforced strictly in developing countries we are seeing seat belt syndrome cases in these countries more and more. We presented here a case of seat belt syndrome in 35 years old women.

In this era, people using vehicles is getting increased day by day. As pedestrians leading a dog for a walk, or hurrying to their workplace in the morning, we’ve all experienced unsafe, fast-moving vehicles operated by inattentive drivers that nearly mow us down. Many of us live in apartment complexes or housing neighborhoods where ignorant drivers disregard safety and zoom by, going way too fast. To plan, monitor and also control these vehicles is becoming a big challenge. In the article, we have come up with a solution to the above problem using the video surveillance considering the video data from the traffic cameras. Using computer vision and deep learning technology we will be able to recognize violations of rules. This article will describe modern CV and DL methods to recognize vehicle on the road and traffic violations of rules by them. Implementation of methods can be done using OpenCV Python as a tool. Our proposed solution can recognize vehicles, track their speed and help in counting the objects precisely.

The article discusses management decisions, following which workers of transport enterprises can understand in detail the nature of the occurrence of road accidents and violations of traffic rules. Attention is paid to quality tools, emphasis is placed on their applied application to improve the controllability of the transportation process and minimize accidents. Demonstrates the use of quality tools as one of the methods for analyzing the functioning of any transport unit.

The intersection is one of the emergency sections of the road network.Regula-tions should clarify the behavior of each road user when their paths intersect or are close to collision in order to avoid accidents. In the current version of the traffic rules, there are moments where the sequence of traffic is still not specified. This article will disclose these inaccuracies.

Abstract With the development of science and technology, self-driving automobile will become increasingly available in the future, and our lives will become more convenient with them. Autocar is in an area of robotics, belonging to the service field. It can be used to make our lives better and reduce the cost of human driving the car, thus will have a great effect on human’s life. However, people do not understand the mechanism of self-driving quite clearly, it is necessary to present some basic operating process and related algorithms of the automatic cars. Meanwhile, in order to show how a self-driving car could control itself using various sensors and algorithms, which is also the basic idea of the automobile company to make a new autocar. Different sensors that are able to detect the behavior of the self-driving cars are used in this paper to fit in different algorithm that follows the principles of motion and robotics. It is concluded that the car could theoretically drive safely, and could avoid crashing to other cars, people or barriers with the safety algorithm. Also, the car could follow the traffic rules properly and plan the most efficient route to get to the final location.

Recently, public interest in accidents involving children has been increasing owing to a decrease in birth rate in Korea. Specifically, interest in traffic safety in school zones has been increasing because of the revision of the Minsik Act. However, there is a lack of studies and evidence on the effect of the actual designation of a school zone on traffic accidents involving children and awareness of drivers. In this study, we examined the psychological effect of increasing awareness about traffic regulations on drivers within a school zone via an awareness survey of a school zone for drivers in Changwon. Additionally, based on this survey, the characteristics that affect a driver's sense of compliance with respect to traffic rules in a school zone were analyzed. Finally, a method was presented for enhancing traffic safety for children in a school zone.

The open wording of the traffic rules of the sea, COLREGS, and the existence of unwritten rules, make it essential for an autonomous ship to understand the intentions of meeting traffic. This article uses a dynamic Bayesian network (DBN) to model and infer the intentions of other ships based on their observed real-time behavior. Multiple intention nodes are included to describe the different ways a ship can interpret and conflict with the behavioral rules outlined in CORLEGS. The prior distributions of the intention nodes are adapted to the current situation based on observable characteristics such as location and relative ship size. When a new observation is made, the probability distributions of the intention variables are updated by excluding all combinations of intention states that conflict with the observed behavior. This way of modeling makes the intention probabilities independent of how often observations are made. The resulting model is able to identify situations that are prone to cause misunderstandings and infer the state of multiple intention variables that describe the behavior. Different collision avoidance algorithms can use the resulting intention information to better know if, when, and how to act.
