Boundary detection and alert system is a straightforward and effective idea, which utilizes Internet of Things technology. By utilizing this framework border monitoring is 100% protected and secure. It detects the current position of the vehicle and switch on the caution framework naturally. In this anticipate, no need of manual operations like on time and off time setting. Heat stroke is considered a major problem in Karachi, with a considerable number of people recorded as victims each year. The proposed Internet-of-Things (IoT) based heat stroke shield works under heat stroke conditions, depending on a heat index value (atmospheric temperature and humidity). The system comprises of a wristband, a hardware kit and an alert system which can pre-notify a wearer regarding his body parameter readings. Moreover, the system can also work as a problem solver, in heat stroke condition, by showering water on the victim. In both cases, an alert will also be generated to the wearer’s caretakers with his GPS location.

Intruder recognition is basic parts of home computerization and home security frameworks. Most generally, utilized specialized devices are mobile phones and sending mails are considered for controlling home appliances remotely by proposing productive structures. An Enhanced Security Alert System for Smart Home using IOT is composed in our proposed work. It identifies the intruder when no one is in home by sending alert message or caught picture to the proprietor (or) owner. Proposed framework is ease home security framework utilizes an IP Web-camera and Raspberry pi for limiting delay during the time of sending alert message. Fog Computing is incorporated to proposed framework to expand the level of security and limit the engendering delay. Proposed framework is to give minimal effort arrangement and adaptable association instrument for coordinating Internet of Things with home security frameworks.</p><p><em> </em></p>

Recent development of the Internet of Things (IoT) and Smart Things provides an opportunity for the informationization for the automotive industry. This article describes Obstacle Detection and Alert System (ODAS) both incorporated as a single system for the obstacles such as speed breakers, barricades on the road using Internet of Things. Obstacle detection system uses in-built algorithm to detect an obstacle on the road using minimal vehicle parameters such as vehicle speed, steering angle. Obstacles locations thus marked by the detection system are stored locally and uploaded to cloud from time-to-time. Cloud server processes data from different vehicles and finalizes that there is a real obstacle at the particular location based on its own algorithm. Obstacles locations thus confirmed by the cloud server are downloaded to obstacle alert system from time-to-time, which alerts the driver about the obstacle on the road when the driver is nearing the location of the obstacle. This system also provides option to see obstacles location super-imposed on google maps so that user can plan his efficient route in advance. Existing systems only have road sign indications for obstacles such as speed breakers, barricades which the driver might not notice during driving, especially at night times. Existing google maps data do not have option to find road obstacles such as speed breakers, barricades information on it. The system aims to overcome these short-comings by a dedicated system which provides audible and visual alert about road obstacles.

The internet of things is a technology that connects physical objects through the internet. It has an incredible application in the field of medication that offers an assortment of answers for patients and medical services experts. This makes clinical hardware more productive, by giving checking to the patient's wellbeing. That is the reason we offer a framework known as the Automated Medicine Alert System, the proposed framework will be intended to remind patients to take as much time as is needed and to give data about the patient's wellbeing status to both the patient and the patient's overseer. Here, the patient necessities to give a medicine, the subtleties of which have been given to him by a specialist to a page, after which the framework will store the heaviness of every tablet just as the all out weight of medication. At the hour of medication admission as indicated by the GSM module, the tablet will be determined by a 16-digit LCD screen, alongside a buzzer sound. The weight change is processed with the assistance of a gadget called a load cell subsequent to taking the medication and afterward contrasted with the past complete weight. The framework will send an affirmation email, i.e, an instant message to the patient and his overseer assuming any, subsequently, broke down dependent on changes in the heaviness of tablets.

Nowadays, Internet of Things (IoT) has come to limelight. IoT is a platform that uses variety of technologies and research disciplines to help and solve the real world problems faced by any individual and organizations. The objects in IoT domain are instrumented, interconnected, and process anything intelligently anywhere, anytime, anyway and anyhow. In open space, the wireless communication is used to transmit and receive the data from sender to the receiver devices. So, IoT platform makes the product smarter and allows Machine to Machine (M2M) interaction through which data can be transmitted through the wireless communication effectively. Our project aims to develop an IoT based SOS and border alert system for hazards encountered by the fishermen. Continually, many fishermen lose their valuable lives usually because of crossing the nation’s boundary limit and adding to the misery the recent OCKHI cyclone has also affected the life of many fishermen. So, as to overcome these issues border alert system has been designed with lower cost. In the existing border alert system communication with the people who could come to their aid has not been incorporated which is the motive of our project. In addition, the proposed work includes cyclone prediction, medicine recommendation system for advising the fishermen with appropriate medicines during their work interlude. The tracking and message transmission processes are also added and tracking equipment by which the fishermen and the permissible persons can trace their exact location using Blynk App.
