ABSTRACTBonding strength and fatigue strength tests of SPF/DB joints in 7475 aluminum alloy and Ti-6Al-4V alloy were carried out. Their strengths of the joints using cryogenic rolled sheet were higher than those using conventional cold rolled sheet. Surface finish for removing oxide film was essential to obtain high-quality bond in aluminum alloy.

Abstract WC-3015 is a columbium-base alloy developed for structural applications in high-temperature oxidizing environments. It is characterized by good oxidation resistance, good mechanical properties and compatibility with silicide coatings. Cold-rolled sheet can be joined and welded without cracking. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, elasticity, and tensile properties as well as creep. It also includes information on forming, heat treating, machining, joining, and surface treatment. Filing Code: Cb-21. Producer or source: Wah Chang, a Teledyne Corporation.

ABSTRACTVariation of internal stress states in cold rolled sheet metal can essentially influence the result of forming processes. Therefore it is important to control the forming process by a practicable in line testing method. For this purpose magnetic and ultrasonic nondestructive methods are available. However, it is necessary to calibrate these techniques. This paper describes a first step of such a calibration procedure making use of the neutron diffraction method. On the basis of the diffraction results an assessment of the magnetic and ultrasonic methods for the estimation of residual stress in the cold rolled iron-disks was made. Reasonable measuring concepts for practical applications to forming processes with cold rolled sheet metal are discussed.

Used the influence of technological factors of the rolling process on the intensity of the rolling out of the defect to determine the value of deformation and the coefficient of use of the plasticity resource. Introduced the notion of residual coefficient of plasticity resource in the second stage of transformation of the defect. Found that the causes of deterioration of the quality of cold-rolled sheet can be numerous defects of mechanical origin, caused by mechanical damage of the sheet surface. Conducted an analysis of profiles rolling modes, rolled on the mill 1700. With the use of existing methods calculated DUPR on workshop modes of rolling of specified profiles with and without considering the surface defects. Carried an optimization of the modes of strip rolling with surface defects.

Under the national trend of manufacturing information and integration, cold-rolled sheet plants (CRSP) have begun to transform the manufacturing information in order to meet the fierce market competition. The upper information management (ERP) has already been basically realized in current market. However, the lower automation system and the upper information management system are not well integrated, causing a series of problems, such as basic data delay in the production line, being difficult to keep unanimous with the upper data and so on. To solve the above problems, efforts are paid on the combination of the manufacturing information system requirements and the research of MES system architecture, a set of MES system is established and the whole system architecture and function modules are designed in detail. Through the simulation of this system, it finds that the logistics and information flow can keep unanimous and the production efficiency will be greatly improved, which will create greater economic benefits.

With the help of orientation distribution function (ODF) analysis, experiments of different hot band grain microstructure 0.33% silicon steel were cold-rolled and annealed in the laboratory,to study the effect of the microstructure hot-rolled steel strip for cold rolled non-oriented silicon steel microstructure and texture of recrystallization annealing. The results show that hot rolled microstructure on cold rolled Non-Oriented Electrical Steel cold-rolled sheet evolution of texture and recrystallization have important influence, the quiaxed grain structure of steel by cold rolling and recrystallization annealing, the recrystallization speed than the fiber grain-based mixed crystals recrystallization fast , With the equiaxed grains made of cold rolled silicon steel after annealing the {110}<UVW> texture components was enhanced and {100}<uwv> texture components weakened. Different microstructure condition prior to cold rolling in the recrystallization annealing process the texture evolution has the obvious difference, the equiaxial grain steel belt cold rolling and annealing, has the strong crystal orientation. This shows that the equiaxed grain when hot microstructure is detrimental to the magnetic properties of cold-rolled non-oriented silicon steel to improve and increase.

A nominally pure Al slab was thermo-mechanically treated to result in a near random texture of 90 m grain size. Subsequent cold rolling with intermediate anneals at 230, 275, and 300°C reduced the Fe solute to near equilibrium compositions below 0.5 ppm atomic. The final cold rolled sheet continuously recrystallized; grain growth of this structure is reported. A grain-growth kinetics mapping was generated, correlating the parameters of Fe-in-Al solubility limit, Fe diffusivities in the grain boundaries and the Al lattice and the activation energies for migration rates.
