AbstractL-glutamate is an important component of protein. It can prevent gastrointestinal damage caused by NSAIDs. We constructed two-phase enteric-coated granules of aspirin and L-glutamate compound by extrusion spheronization method and fluidized bed coating. The subliminal effective dose of L-glutamate is 100 mg/kg tested by model of gastric ulcer of rats induced by aspirin and drug administration. HPLC-UV and UV–Vis methods were adopted to determine content and cumulative release of aspirin and L-glutamate as quality analysis method indexes. The prescription and process optimization were carried out with yield, sphericity and dissolution. The two-phase compound granules have good sphericity of 0.93 ± 0.05 (aspirin pellets) and 0.94 ± 0.02 (L-glutamate pellets), content of salicylic acid (0.24 ± 0.03)%, dissolution of aspirin (2.36 ± 0.11)%. Quality evaluation and preliminary stability meet the commercial requirements. The stored environment of compound preparation should be sealed in a cool and dark place.

In this study, a simple, sensitive and reliable fingerprint analysis method by high-performance liquid chromatography coupled with diode array detection (HPLC-DAD) was developed for quality analysis of Bulbus Lilii, which is a famous traditional Chinese medicine and widely used as a restorative food. Then the developed method was subsequently applied to analyse 16 samples collected or purchased from different origins. Twelve common fingerprint peaks, including four definitely identified peaks, were found in total, and were involved for further characterisation and quality evaluation of Bulbus Lilii. The chemical quality of commercial samples collected from different origins varied obviously, indicating that more attention should be paid to the standardisation of the process of harvesting, manufacturing and storage of Bulbus Lilii. This is the first time that a new method has been established to control the quality of Bulbus Lilii through HPLC-DAD.

Enteric coated dosage form bypasses the stomach and releases the drug into the small intestine. Advantages of enteric coated pellets in comparison with enteric coated tablets are a) Pellets provide rapid onset of action and faster drug release due to the smaller size than tablets and b) Pellets exhibit less residence time of acid-labile drugs in the stomach compared to tablets. Dosage form coat can be damaged by longer resistance time in the stomach. The present review summarizes the current state of enteric coated pellets where core pellets are prepared by extrusion-spheronization technique and the enteric coating is applied in a fluidized bed processor. Two approaches are involved in the preparation of core pellets. In the first approach, a mixture of drug and excipient(s)/co-processed excipient is passed through extruders to prepare core pellets. In the second approach, excipient core pellets are prepared by extrusion technique and the drug is layered onto it before the enteric coating. The excipients present in the core pellets decide immediate or extended release of drug in the intestine. The coprocessed excipient pellets provide less batch variability and provide a platform for layering of many drugs before enteric coating. Some patents included enteric coating pellets [CN105456223 (A), CN105596310 (A), CN105616371 (A), CN105663095 (A), CN101611766B, CN106511862 (A), CN106668018 (A), CN106727381 (A), CN106924222 (A), TW200624127 (A), US 2017/0165248A1, US 2017/0224720A1] are discussed.

Service quality is important because it makes prices more affordable, and also fulfils customer satisfaction. This bolsters trust for customers, and thereby encourages them to keep buying products at retail stores. This research uses Quality Service Analysis method to understand the gap between customers’ expectations regarding service attributes and their perceived satisfaction level. This study also uses the method of Importance and Performance Analysis to determine an attribute’s category. Therefore, it can determine which priorities should be reinforced to improve customer satisfaction. Through SERVQUAL analysis, there are 10 known attributes of each retailer that has the highest gap score. Through IPA analysis, we know that Alfamart has 7 attributes which warrant serious attention from management. This is due to the high expectations of customers on the indicator, and the fact that the management has not managed well. Meanwhile, Indomaret has 9 attributes that warrant serious attention from management.

Vehicle air quality is attracted attention more and more with the increase of private vehicles popularization rate but the air quality evaluation is difficult to achieve standardization in the short term. The main pollutants affecting vehicle air quality were analyzed. Index factors were identified and the classification method of vehicle air quality evaluation were determined combining with China and international air quality standards. Fuzzy comprehensive evaluation method was established for vehicle air quality evaluation. According to the degree of different pollutants harm to human body, weight of each index factor was determined. The evaluation results would provide theoretical basis for the comparison of different vehicle air quality conditions and vehicle air pollution control.

Abstract A new measure for evaluating fit quality of mating parts via Fit Capability Indices (FCIs) is introduced as an interface between fit quality and process control of the mating parts. Fit Capability Analysis method is discussed based on the relationship between FCIs and Process Capability Indices (PCIs). A new statistical tolerancing approach for assuring predetermined fit quality is developed on the basis of fit quality evaluation measures and fit capability analysis, which can be used as a guideline to process design and process monitoring of the mating parts.

Purpose This study aims to focus on the passive components of System in Package SiP modules and discusses the geometric pad designs for 01005-sized passive components, the front end design of the hole size and shape of the stencil and the parameters of the stencil sidewall coating, to determine the optimum parameter combination. Design/methodology/approach This study plans and conducts experiments, where a L8(27) inner orthogonal array is built to consider the control factors, including a L4(23) outer orthogonal array to consider the noise factor, and the experimental data are analyzed by using the technique for order preference by similarity to ideal solution multi-quality analysis method. Findings The results show that the optimum design parameter level combination is that the solder mask opening pad has no solder mask in the lower part of the component, the pad width is 1.1 times that of the component width, the pad length is 1.75 times that of the electrode tip length, the pad spacing is 5 mil, the stencil open area is 90% of the pad area, the stencil opening corner has a 3 mil chamfer angle, and the stencil sidewall is free of nano-coating. Originality/value The parameter design and multi-quality analysis method, as proposed in this study, can effectively develop the layout of passive components on a high-density SiP module substrate, to stabilize the process and increase the production yield.
