The high temperature superconductor’s compounds are one of the hot spot field of science, due to their applications in industries. Hg0.8Sb0.2Ba2Ca2Cu3O8+δ and Hg0.8Sb0.2Ba2Ca1Cu2O6+δ, were manufactured using a doable-step of solid state reaction method. The samples were sintered at 800 ° C. The transition temperatures Tc are found from electrically resistively by using four probe techniques. The resistivity become zero when the transition temperature Tc(offset) have 131 and 119 K, and the onset temperature Tc(onset) have 139 K for Hg0.8Sb0.2Ba2Ca2Cu3O8+δ and 132 K for Hg0.8Sb0.2Ba2Ca1Cu2O6+δ. Analysis of X-ray diffraction showed a tetragonal structure with lattice parameters changes for all samples.

A Ca, Sr double-doped La2/3(Ca2/3Sr1/3)1/3MnO3 thin film with a thickness of about 60~nm was deposited on (100) LaAlO3 substrates using the RF magnetron sputtering method from the bulk compound prepared using the solid-state reaction method. The experimental results show that a phase transition from the ferromagnetic metallic state to the paramagnetic insulating state occurs at 341 K (near to Tp, the highest peak temperature). The R–T curve deviation of the thin film with the application of CW laser is dramatic in the low-temperature range and Δ R/R is positive. At 276 K, the Δ R/R reaches the maximum, about 41 %, and the temperature of the photo-induced resistance maximum of this double-doped thin film appears near to room temperature range, which offers a new method for the application of CMR photo-electric devices.PACS Nos.: 78.66.–w, 81.07–b

The polycrystalline of Sr1xLaxMnO3 (x = 0.11.0) samples were synthesized by solid state reaction method and general sintering. The Sr1xLaxMnO3 powders were calcined and sintered by furnace at 900 K and 1173 K for 3 hours in air atmosphere, respectively. Thermopower of the samples were measured by steady state method at temperature range of 290-520 K in air. The thermopower all samples were increased with increasing the La content substitution.

The aim of the present work is to study the critical behavior of Pr0.6−xErxCa0.1Sr0.3MnO3 (x = 0, 0.02 and 0.06) manganites, synthetized by the conventional solid-state reaction method, around the paramagnetic (PM)–ferromagnetic (FM) phase transition.

The Bi0.5(Na0.7K0.2Li0.1)0.5TiO3 powder synthesis through molten salt method was investigated in the temperature range of 650 ~ 700°C for 2 ~ 4h. The XRD results indicated that the optimal synthesizing temperature for molten salt method was 700°C, significantly lower than that for conventional processing route of solid state reaction method, where a calcining temperature of 850°C was needed. The SEM results revealed better crystallization of the powders obtained through molten salt method, compared with those through the conventional processing route of solid state reaction method.
