Draft Genome Sequence of Neisseria gonorrhoeae Strain NG_869 with Penicillin, Tetracycline and Ciprofloxacin Resistance Determinants Isolated from Malaysia
ABSTRACT
We report here the first draft genome sequence of a Mexican communitarian methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus epidermidis (MRSE) strain whose genome harbors a wide variety of resistance determinants. The availability of this genome will allow the study of antibiotic resistance in Mexican staphylococci from a genomic perspective.

clinical strain, HPC229. This strain harbors both plasmid and chromosomal resistance determinants toward different β-lactams and aminoglycosides as well as several types of multidrug efflux pumps, most likely representing an adaptation strategy for survival under different environments.
