Hydroxyapatite (HA) was synthesized in presence of 20wt% m-ZrO2by solid state reaction between tricalcium phosphate(TCP) and Ca(OH)2at 1000 °C for 2h. Similarily, Fluorine hydroxyapatite(FA) was synthesized using tricalcium phosphate and calcium fluoride as raw materials at 1000 °Cfor 3h. The as-prepared HA was mixed with 10%,25%,45%,55%,70wt% FA and the mixture was sintered at 1000°C-1400°C for 2h. The main phase and bulk density was measured. The results show that when the relative amount of FA to HA increased, the decomposition of the composite is decreased gradually because of the formation of thermally stable FHA solid solutions. Low temperature would effect the exchange of ionic between FA and HA,while high temperature would impact synthesis of composites, because high temperature would lead to dissolution of HA ,which has to react with FA. Increase the content of HA would be advantage for synthesis FHA-ZrO2composite.

β-Tricalcium phosphate bioceramics with small, close to bone-like amounts of Mg were obtained by modified precipitation method and following sintering. The effect of small amounts of Mg on the thermal stability, microstructure and sintering behavior of β-tricalcium phosphate bioceramics was evaluated. Addition of small amounts of Mg, can induce a remarkable effect on the physic-chemical properties of β-TCP and therefore the chemical composition of the starting materials should be controlled.

Two new asymmetrical bis-spiropyrans with nonequivalent spiropyran units have been investigated. Hydroxyethyl and carboxyethyl substituents have been used to improve thermal stability of the photoinduced merocyanine forms of the bis-spiropyrans. 2-Hydroxyethyl substituted compound is characterized by 4 times more stable merocyanine isomer. 2-Carboxyethyl substituent in the hetarene part enables chelation by metal ions and controllably stabilizes the merocyanine from thermal decay. As a result of theoretical modeling and photochemical experiments, it was shown that obtained compounds are perspective prototypes for multistate light-driven switches with improved stability of photoinduced forms.

Complexes of cell-THPC-thiourea-ADP with Ca2+ have been prepared. The thermal stability and smoke suspension of the samples are determined by TG, DTA and cone calorimetry. The activation energies for the second stage of thermal degradation have been obtained by following Broido equation. Experimental data show that for the complexes of cell-THPC-thiourea-ADP with Ca2+, the activation energies and thermal decomposition temperatures are higher than those of cell-THPC-thiourea-ADP, which shows these metal ions can increase the thermal stability of cell-THPC-thiourea-ADP

Complexes of cell-THPC-thiourea-ADP with Mg2+ have been prepared. The thermal stability and smoke suspension of the samples are determined by TG, DTA and cone calorimetry. Experimental data show that for the complexes of cell-THPC-thiourea-ADP with Mg2+, thermal decomposition temperatures are higher than those of cell-THPC-thiourea-ADP, which shows these metal ions can increase the thermal stability of cell-THPC-thiourea-ADP. The cone calorimetry data indicate that the metal ions greatly decrease the smoke, CO and CO2 generation of cell-THPC-thiourea-ADP, which can be used as smoke suppressants. However, there are no obvious effects for these metal ions on heat release of samples.
