Virtual reality based visual interactive simulation system is proposed and completed, which applied integrated intelligent control to ship steering and main engine. For the multipoint communication of the proposed distributed visual simulation system, a DCOM based communication model is discussed. The group communications is divided into three layers from bottom to top. Based on static and dynamic combined algorithm, a dispatcher using centrality load balancing is also presented.

Equipment maintenance support simulation experiment (EMSSE) is a method of studying maintenance support problem about decision-making about uncertain support scheme alternatives. Aiming at the character of complexity and uncertainty on the warship equipment maintenance support system, a type of structure applied to the warship equipment maintenance support simulation system was brought forward to support EMSSE based on the functional demand of system, and the interface layer, running-time layer, and data layer were analyzed in detail , and the executing process was designed. Finally, a warship maintenance support simulation system (WMSSS) which was developed and realized based on system design, which was used to make an experiment. The result of simulation experiment validates that WMSSS is feasible and reasonable to supply uncertain decision assistance for warship maintenance equipment support.

In view of the characteristics of the oil drilling process and the existing problems of traditional simulation system, a new distributed drilling simulation model was established based on Multi-Agent system (MAS) technology. By means of autonomous, cooperative and reactive characteristic of Agent, the drilling laws and phenomenon can be reflected promptly and accurately under any circumstances. The MAS modeling for oil drilling simulation, the structure and knowledge representation of each Agent and the communication among Agents are described in detail. Finally, an Agent-based normal drilling well control simulation training example was given. The simulation results show that the simulator based on Multi-Agent system has better performances than traditional drilling simulators, and enhances the integrated training function of the drilling simulation system.
