This research is to know and analyze about Work Discipline, and communication to job satisfaction and its implication to performance of field of Higher Education and High Education Office of West Java Province. The method used in this research is qualitative analysis. Methods of data collection is done by interview and questionnaire, while data processing used SPSS software version 23.00. Based on the results of research, it is found that work discipline, communication, job satisfaction and performance of employees at good level. In general, the independent variable working on job satisfaction is 0.479 or 47.90%, and communication variables to job satisfaction of 0.293 or 29.30%, and variable earnings on performance is equal to 0.783 or 78.30%. From the results of research conducted, then all the broad variables will have a significant effect on the performance of employees of Higher Education and Higher Education Department of West Java Province.

To achieve vision, mission and the objectives of an institution is determined by capability of the teachers. The development and improvement of teacher must be done systematically, systematic, and be oriented to the four teacher proficiencies. This study aims to determine of how the pattern on increasing the teacher competence in Islamic Junior High School, Banda Aceh, using descriptive methods and the data collection is through observations, interviews and documentation. The subject of the study is head master of the school, chairmen of MGMP, teacher supervisor. The study also uses qualitative analysis. The study shows that: 1) the improvement of the teacher competence at MTsN Banda Aceh has not been supported by realistic program, comprehensive and operational. 2). The implementation of improving the teacher competence is not supported through teacher needs-based program in order to be implemented systematically, well-planned, and sustainably, 3) There is still many internal and external obstacles in implementing the teacher competence through school headmaster supervision and the supervisors could not reach the expected target.

The aim of the study is to analyze the measures from Taiwan and the United States that responded to the Covid-19 in high education institutions. The method that was conducted in this study is qualitative with a narrative review as a data technique. Data collected from reviewed the relevant literature that meets inclusion criteria as the primary object. The descriptive qualitative analysis technique was used. The result of this study concludes that some measures from Taiwan and United States can be matched according to the characteristic in Indonesia. These two countries provide several lessons in tackling the Covid-19 problem in the education sector by preventing the transmission since the beginning, taking mitigation steps to reduce the speed of the spread of the virus, applying clear regulations and guidelines in various fields of life including education, and have a sense of sensitivity to relaxed and tightened of regulations.

The purpose of this study was to investigate and explore the level of junior high student’s motivation during online learning in pandemic COVID-19. In this design-based research study, motivation level is examined by ARCS survey, interview and observation. The total of respondents were 180 students with different degree levels of study, gender and academic achievement. The analyzed data was measured by SPSS. From this research, the result shows that students of middle degree level have the highest motivation level during pandemic. A statistically significant difference in motivation level is also seen at the beginning of online learning and at the middle of online learning.
