The coupling of a micro-flow injection sample introduction system to a highly versatile quadrupole ICP-MS (FI-ICP-MS) has been demonstrated to achieve accurate and precise trace element measurements for several iron meteorites.
In this work, the performance of a high temperature torch Integrated Sample Introduction System (hTISIS) using inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry (ICP-MS) for the multi-element analysis of whole blood is evaluated.
A method has been developed for the direct (no sample pretreatment and/or isolation of the target element from the sample matrix) Pb isotopic analysis of bioethanol via multi-collector ICP-mass spectrometry (MC-ICP-MS).
Precise and accurate lead isotopic analysis of Antarctic snow at the pg g−1 concentration level has been achieved by combining a total consumption sample introduction system with MC-ICP-MS.
