Abstrak— Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pola trafik internet pada beberapa lokasi yang diteliti. Pengamatan dilakukan selama dua belas (12) bulan. Data diolah dengan metode statistika untuk mendapatkan proyeksi pengguna internet dan kebutuhan titik hotspot. Penelitian menghasilkan rekomendasi kebutuhan hotspot dengan mempertimbangkan mobilitas pengguna internet dan countur lokasi. Rekomendasi perangkat berbeda pada tiap lokasi dari sisi geografis dan padatnya area. Line of Sight mempengaruhi kemampuan perangkat dalam memancarkan signal internet.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terjadinya peningkatan pengguna internet pada hari raya umat Islam, Hal ini diduga karena mayoritas masyarakat pada lokasi tersebut muslim. Proyeksi pelanggan di 300 desa didapatkan minimum penetrasi 36,7% dan maksimal 85.2%. Rekomendasi sejumlah 940 Titik hotspot dengan area bandwith secara statik sebesar 3Mbps (aggregate download dan upload).  Penelitian memperhitungkan Link Budget perangkat backhoul tier 3 dengan frekuensi 24Ghz. Setiap  perangkat dapat menangani rata-rata jumlah device yang terkoneksi secara bersama sejumlah > 200 Device teknologi Wi-Fi (IEEE 802.11). Beban total trafik  > 1,6 GBPS. Rekomendasi Arsitektur  broadband wireless access Berbasis Hotspot Di Jawa Timur yaitu Surabaya 140 lokasi dengan 400 titik hotspot, Mojokerto sejumlah 70 lokasi dengan 210 titik hotspot. Pandaan sejumlah 80 lokasi dengan 240 titik hotspot Malang  43 lokasi dengan 90 titik hotspot.Kata kunci: Broadband Wireless Access, Hotspot, Line Of SightAbstract— This study aims to determine the pattern of internet traffic in several locations in Jawa Indonesia. Observations were made for twelve (12) months. Data is processed using statistical methods to obtain projections of internet users and hotspot needs. This study produces recommendations for hotspot needs by considering internet user mobility and location contours. Device recommendations vary by location in terms of geography and crowded areas. Line of Sight affects the ability of the device to emit internet signals. The results showed an increase in internet users on Muslim holidays. Projected customers in 300 villages have a minimum penetration of 36.7% and a maximum of 85.2%. The recommended number of 940 hotspots with a static area of 3Mbps (download aggregate and upload). This study takes into account the tier 3 Link Budget backhoul device with a frequency of 24Ghz. Each device can handle the average number of devices that are connected together by> 200 Wi-Fi technology devices (IEEE 802.11). Total traffic load> 1.6 GBPS. Architectural recommendations for broadband wireless access based on hotspots in East Java, Surabaya, 140 locations with 400 hotspots, Mojokerto with 70 locations with 210 hotspots. Wireless communications became one of the most widespread means for transferring information. Speed and reliability in transferring the piece of information are considered one of the most important requirements in communication systems in general. Moreover, Quality and reliability in any system are considered the most important criterion of the efficiency of this system in doing the task it is designed to do and its ability for satisfactory performance for a certain period of time, Therefore, we need fault tree analysis in these systems in order to determine how to detect an error or defect when happening in communication system and what are the possibilities that make this error happens. This research deals with studying TETRA system components, studying the physical layer in theory and practice, as well as studying fault tree analysis in this system, and later benefit from this study in proposing improvements to the structure of the system, which led to improve gain in Link Budget. A simulation and test have been done using MATLAB, where simulation results have shown that the built fault tree is able to detect the system’s work by 82.4%.

The problem that often occurs in malls or supermarkets is the use of EDC as a non-cash payment tool for alternative customers. However, the use of EDC machines sometimes experiences problems, namely when customers enter data so that transactions take longer, so this study aims to analyze the optimization of EDC placement in shopping center buildings. This research method is to measure the parameters, namely the RSCP and the closest antenna coverage from the EDC. In this study, three samples were taken, namely Cassa 1, 2 and 3 at Matahari Department Store Malang Town Square. The results of this study were obtained that the Drive Test in the Matahari room showed that Cassa-1, Cassa-2 and Cassa-3 received RSCP with green color which means good. Two of the three tools, namely Drive Test and Mobile can display RSCP with a value that is not too much difference. Especially for EDC is only able to visually display the RSCP and the results of previous calculations, the value of ten antennas which is in the Matahari room has a coverage area below 10 m. And the UG-12 antenna, which is the closest antenna to Cassa-3,  that is outside the antenna coverage, while the UG-08 antenna can still reach the Cassa-3 area. This shows that the placement of EDC has met the requirements to get adequate signal quality and the position of the Cassa table can be moved according to the antenna coverage calculation on the Link budget and Path Loss calculations

Because of the high BER (Bit Error Rate), low time delay and low channel transmission efficiency of HAPS (High Altitude Platform Station) in the near space. The link budget of HAPS and channel model are proposed in this paper. According to the channel characteristic, the channel model is set up, combined with different CNR (Carrier Noise Ratio), elevation angle, coding situations of wireless communication link by using Hamming code, PSK (Pulse Shift Keying) and Golay code respectively, then the situations of link quality and BER are analyzed. The simulation results show that the established model of the link budget and channel are suitable for the theoretical analysis results. The elevation of the HAPS communication link is smaller while the BER is increasing. The case of channel in the coding is better than in the un-coded situation. When every bit power and thermal noise power spectral density is larger, the BER of the HAPS communication link is becoming smaller.
