Improving the exploitative and environmental performance of piston engines (PICE) is an urgent task for many engineers and scientists. The article presents the results of the upgrade of a gas-and-air system of a diesel PICE, carried out through changing the turbocharging system’s configuration and modernizing the design of the admittance collector. The authors present a review of studies on the given subject and a description of the object of the research. The study was conducted on the basis of bench tests at a manufacturing plant and mathematical modeling using ACTUS program. The results of experimental studies on the main indicators of a basic and upgraded PICEs are presented. The gas exchange processes in the PICE under examination were studied in detail using mathematical modeling. For the given diesel PICE, improvement of the gas-and-air system leads to a growth in charging efficiency by 2.45-3.92%, a decrease in scavenging factor by 3.11-6.31% and a reduction of specific fuel consumption up to 3.33%. In the conclusion, new directions for increasing the efficiency of the given PICE are offered.

Relevance: Inflammatory-destructive periodontal diseases are the most complicated and became the main cause of tooth loss in adult population. Herbal medicines have a variety of pharmacological properties, so the development and introduction of new forms for the treatment of inflammatory periodontal diseases is an urgent task today.Purpose – experimental evaluation of effectiveness of the use of herbal medicines “Tonzinal” and “CM-1” in relation to the priority periodontal pathogenes.Materials and methods: in experimental studies, the basis for the experiment was the system for the cultivation of microorganisms in real time – the Revers-Spinner RTS-1 bioreactor. With the priority strains of periodontitis pathogens, the study of the growth dynamics of the culture was carried out in several parallels.Results: herbal medicines “CM-1” and “Tonsinal” has a multilateral therapeutic effect, exerting a diverse influence on the key stages of development of such bacterial populations as Aggregatibacter actinomycetemcomitans, Streptococcus constellatus, Candida albicans.Conclusion: tan integrated approach in the treatment of patients with inflammatory periodontal diseases is promising and will contribute to a more prolonged remission and increase the effectiveness of treatment.

The paper presents the results of numerical experimental studies of cutting titanium blanks using mathematical modeling programs, which make it possible to completely repeat technological processes in a computer (digital twin). The LS-DYNA product was used as a program to simulate the process of stock removal from titanium blank. It has been established that the use of this method adequately describes the cutting processes, including with the introduction of the energy of an ultrasonic field into the processing zone, can significantly reduce the duration of experimental research and evaluate the influence of the elements of the cutting mode and design parameters of the tool on the thermal power aspects of the formation of new surfaces of machine parts.

In recent years, the internal combustion engine has been widely used through technological advances to improve its environmental performance. Mechanical and electrical integration of the engine turbocharging system is based on conventional turbocharging system to increase motor in parallel with the turbocharger and the corresponding reversible energy storage components, so that achieve by adjusting the energy input or output direction and the size of the motor to adjust the exhaust turbocharger operating point and the gas supply function. According to matching requirements of light vehicle diesel engine, the analysis model of exhaust gas energy is obtained through qualitative analysis of exhaust gas energy in turbocharged diesel engine.

Complex knowledge exchange processes in collaborative knowledge building settings within wikis can be either supported by providing guidance in form of cognitive group awareness information or by explicitly guiding learners with collaboration scripts. My Ph.D. project comprises a series of three experimental studies to determine which kind of support is most beneficial for varying types of learners working with wikis. For this research different fields of CSCL are integrated and both quantitative and qualitative methods are applied to provide comprehensive analyses in order to provide opportunities for other related research. Presenting and discussing aspects of my research and first results could be beneficial for my future research.

The state economies of our time are faced with the urgent task of developing innovative campaigns to address issues of digital financial asset management. This trend is caused by the development of technological systems for providing financial services and products on the world market. The proposed instrument for regulating digital banking is the integration into the domestic economy of a new form of money - the digital currency of the central bank (digital ruble). The purpose of the study is to form an idea about the issue of digital financial assets and, as a result, to develop an effective way to introduce digital financial assets "digital ruble" into the domestic financial infrastructure. The shortcomings of the existing domestic legislation regarding the regulation of exchange processes and regulation of the turnover of digital financial assets are revealed. The concepts of "issue of digital financial assets", "digital ruble" are disclosed. The processes of issuing the digital ruble, the planned turnover in the domestic financial system, the possibility of converting digital financial assets being introduced into cash and non-cash money are considered. The position of the digital ruble in the structure of the domestic money supply is determined. Potential problems in the economic system in the process of integrating the digital ruble into it are noted. The processes of pricing and fixing the value of digital financial assets are considered. The analysis of the issue of digital financial assets showed a technical flaw and a general limitation in the functionality of the digital ruble, which is supposed to be integrated.

The purpose of the given work will consist in an experimental studies of the diffusion combustion features of the hydrogen round microjet mixtures with the metane, helium and nitrogen. It is found, that the mechanism and characteristics of a microjet and a flame evolution at diffusion combustion of the hydrogen mixture with the metane, helium or nitrogen are connected with the «bottleneck» flame area formation, as well as in a situation of a pure hydrogen microjet diffusion combustion. It is revealed, that process of diffusion combustion of a hydrogen / metane mixture in a round microjet is accompanied by stage-by-stage stages of a turbulent flame detachment at preservation of combustion in the «bottleneck» flame area, and, at last extinction of microjet combustion that correlates with combustion process of a similar microjet of pure hydrogen. It is found, that all above-listed stages of a hydrogen / metane mixture combustion are realized in a range considerably smaller speeds of a microjet (200÷500 m/sec), than in a similar situation of a pure hydrogen microjet combustion (600÷800 m/sec). It is shown, that at diffusion combustion of a mixture of hydrogen with metane or helium or nitrogen in a round microjet for stabilization of combustion with growth of a microjet speed it is necessary to increase a portion of hydrogen (or to reduce a portion of an impurity) in a mixture of gases.
