The study investigates the relationship between psychological ownership with subjective happiness of the employees. The study also examines the mediating role of work engagement in order to explain the relationship between subjective happiness and psychological ownership at workplace.  The purposive sampling techniques have been used with cross sectional design in order to collection data. Mediation analysis was conducted on SPSS by using sample of 271 employees from leading telecommunication companies working in Pakistan. The results showed that psychological ownership has significant positive association with subjective happiness of the employees. Further, work engagement significantly positively mediates this relationship. The present research contributes on the literature of psychological ownerships and subjective happiness and provides possible solutions for maintaining positive atmosphere of psychological ownership that ultimately increase the subjective happiness of the employees.


This study examines how ‘flow experience’ plays role between leisure involvement and leisure satisfaction. We will focus on mediating role of ‘flow experience’ by using University student respondents. The study of results are as follows. First, situational/enduring involvement has a significant relationship with flow experience. Second, higher levels of flow experience lead to high levels of emotional /psychological /social satisfaction in leisure. Finally, we find the effects of situational/ enduring involvement on satisfaction were mediated by flow experience. The results of this study provide significant implication to various area.

The aim of this study was to examine the relationship between dispositional forgiveness and happiness with a particular focus on the mediating role of resilience. Participants consisted of 203 undergraduate students from a private university in Indonesia who completed the Subjective Happiness Scale (SHS), Heartland Forgiveness Scale (HFS), and Connor-Davidson Resilience Scale (CD-RISC). Results of mediational analysis showed that resilience partially mediated the relationship between forgiveness and happiness with the overall model explaining 27% of the variance in happiness. Limitations and practical implications were discussed.

Abstract. This study investigated the mediating role of coping humor in the relationship between emotional intelligence (EI) and job satisfaction. Participants were 398 primary school teachers in China, who completed the Wong Law Emotional Intelligence Scale, Coping Humor Scale, and Overall Job Satisfaction Scale. Results showed that coping humor was a significant mediator between EI and job satisfaction. A further examination revealed, however, that coping humor only mediated two sub-dimensions of EI (use of emotion and regulation of emotion) and job satisfaction. Implications for future research and limitations of the study are discussed.
