Abstract: Adolescence is a period of transition and period of searching for identity. In these times a person will experience an emotional instability. Sometimes to get emotional balance, there will be an internal conflicts. Conflicts in adolescence have various forms, ranging from mild delinquency to overreaching and even in the category of crime such as free sex, drug use, alcohol and many more. The role of the counselor in helping to cope with these problems is very necessary. The counselor's success in the counseling process is inseparable from the personality and skills possessed by the counselor. The counselor's personality is a balancing fulcrum between the knowledge of behavioral dynamics and therapeutic skills. If the fulcrum is strong, the knowledge and the skills will work in balance. In addition to personality factors, the skills possessed by the counselor are also very important in supporting the success of the counseling process. The purpose of writing this article is to examine the literature review related to counselor skills as a problem solving in cope with adolescent problems. The results of the study provide an illustration to us that basically all approaches in the counseling process are not the most right or the wrong one. All approaches have their advantages and weaknesses. Not all approaches to counseling can be used in a case, there are some cases that only require one or two approaches depending on the problems that faced by the client.

As participant recruitment and data collection over the Internet have become more common, numerous observers have expressed concern regarding the validity of research conducted in this fashion. One growing method of conducting research over the Internet involves recruiting participants and administering questionnaires over Facebook, the world’s largest social networking service. If Facebook is to be considered a viable platform for social research, it is necessary to demonstrate that Facebook users are sufficiently heterogeneous and that research conducted through Facebook is likely to produce results that can be generalized to a larger population. The present study examines these questions by comparing demographic and personality data collected over Facebook with data collected through a standalone website, and data collected from college undergraduates at two universities. Results indicate that statistically significant differences exist between Facebook data and the comparison data-sets, but since 80% of analyses exhibited partial η2 < .05, such differences are small or practically nonsignificant in magnitude. We conclude that Facebook is a viable research platform, and that recruiting Facebook users for research purposes is a promising avenue that offers numerous advantages over traditional samples.

Drug use has been increasing worldwide over recent decades. Apart from the determinants of drug initiation established in numerous studies, the authors wish to draw attention to other equally important factors, which may contribute to augmenting this phenomenon. The article aims to draw attention to the content of mass culture, especially representations of drug use in mass media, which may influence the liberalization of attitudes towards drugs and their use. The role of mass culture and its impact on the audience is discussed. It presents an overview of drug representations in the content of mass culture, e.g., in film, music, literature, and the occurrence of drug references in everyday products, e.g., food, clothes, and cosmetics. Attention was drawn to liberal attitudes of celebrities and their admissions to drug use, particularly to the impact of the presented positions on the attitudes of the audience, especially young people for whom musicians, actors, and celebrities are regarded as authorities. Indications for further preventive actions were also presented. Attention was drawn to the need to take appropriate action due to the time of the COVID-19 pandemic when many people staying at home (due to lockdown or quarantine) have the possibility of much more frequent contact with mass culture content, which may distort the image of drugs.
