The purpose of college English teaching is to improve students' English ability in comprehensive hearing, speech, reading, writing and other aspects, and the key measure to improve language skills is to create a good English interaction circumstances for students. In recent years, with the rapid development of science and technology and continuous development of teaching philosophy, the use of visual simulation technology to promote the issue of college English teaching gradually come into the people’s horizon. Visual simulation uses high-end computer technology to form an virtual environment integrated with the visual sense, auditory sense and tactile sense, which is widely used in research because of its good interaction and environment immersion. This article will analyze the theoretical basis of visual simulation technology in college English teaching, conduct a detailed analysis of its application value and explore the visual simulation technology application foreground in college English teaching.

With the rapid development of modern information technology, visual simulation technology is widely used popularized in the construction of college English. To improve the training effect of marine engine room simulator in the aspect of training marine engineer and save the cost of training in real ships, this paper extends the framework of traditional marine engine room simulator by taking full advantage of visual simulation technology and the configuration of framework is presented. The framework is divided into three parts by functionality which is three-dimensional engine room visual simulation side, server side and two-dimensional marine engine room simulator side and the function of each part is also described in details. To implement the function of interaction and collaborative operation of marine engine room simulator under this framework, communication protocol between three-dimensional side and two-dimensional is established and processing mode of interactive entity is designed. This marine engine visual simulation training system has been applied to actual training, achieved better training effect and save the cost of training in real ships of marine education effectively.

The paper researchs on the TCP/IP based Multi-Role virtual surgery simulation training system, which is an intelligent surgery simulation training platform .It make a comprehensive application of visual simulation technology, force feedback technology and Human-Computer interaction technology. Visual simulation technology includes virtual reality, artificial intelligence and dynamic modeling. The use of the TCP/IP interfaces expands the number of user and realizes Multi-Roles collaborative in the same virtual simulation surgery training.

To truly represent the developing changes and spatiotemporal effects of gas explosion in underground mine, this paper discussed the field modeling and visual simulation technology of mine gas explosion. Through analyzing the characteristics of various field parameters, space geometric field models, physical attribute field models, and meteorological parameter field models were established to describe mine engineering, ventilation network, and explosion disaster process, respectively. Based on the generated model class and simulation timing flow of gas explosion disaster field, OpenGL technology was adopted to visualize the model of gas explosion disaster field, which simulated the overpressure propagation process of gas explosion shockwave and dynamic spread process of disaster gas, thereby to reveal the developing changes of gas explosion parameters in time and space. Taking the gas explosion accident that occurred in a certain mine in China as an example, the disaster process was inferred to examine the availability of the mine gas explosion disaster field model. The research achievements in the paper not only embody the great engineering value of visual simulation technology in the field of safety engineering but also provide references for accident impact prediction, assessment, and emergency plan.
