To solve the problem of low utilization efficiency of English teaching resources and students' learning quality is not high. A complete English teaching system based on visual simulation technology was developed to solve the problems of English teaching and cross culture. Teachers' development of various types of teaching methods, to improve the students' scores has significant help. Visual simulation technology can change the traditional teaching mode, stimulate students' interest in learning and improve the quality of English teaching.

This paper explores the quality and effect of Situational English Teaching (SET). The subjects are a few non-English majors from five colleges in a Chinese province. Taking college English course for example, a questionnaire survey was carried out to investigate the application state of SET in college English teaching. The survey shows that most college students are poor in English, and the traditional teaching mode cannot effectively improve students’ English level. Hence, it is feasible to apply SET in college English class. Based on the survey results, a new English teaching mode was designed based on SET, and its application effect was investigated empirically. The empirical analysis shows that the SET-based new mode can boost students’ learning interest and comprehensive use of English, and significantly improve the quality of English teaching. The research results enrich the evidence of SET, and promote the application of SET in college English class.

The purpose of college English teaching is to improve students' English ability in comprehensive hearing, speech, reading, writing and other aspects, and the key measure to improve language skills is to create a good English interaction circumstances for students. In recent years, with the rapid development of science and technology and continuous development of teaching philosophy, the use of visual simulation technology to promote the issue of college English teaching gradually come into the people’s horizon. Visual simulation uses high-end computer technology to form an virtual environment integrated with the visual sense, auditory sense and tactile sense, which is widely used in research because of its good interaction and environment immersion. This article will analyze the theoretical basis of visual simulation technology in college English teaching, conduct a detailed analysis of its application value and explore the visual simulation technology application foreground in college English teaching.

The course of college English plays an important role in overall improving students’ comprehensive quality. Under traditional teaching mode, English teaching is dominated by the teacher, and supplemented by students. Such the efficiency of teaching method is low so that students cannot give full play to their dominant role in learning. Besides, their learning ability cannot improve, and it is difficult to carry out teaching activities efficiently. On this basis, an inquiry teaching mode based on STEM educational concept was explored for the course of college English in this study by combining specific implementation requirements of inquiry learning method. Meanwhile, the teaching effects of experimental class and control class for which traditional teaching mode was applied were compared. The result shows that the inquiry teaching mode based on STEM educational concept has obvious advantages in college English teaching and can significantly improve students’ comprehensive ability and professional quality, so it deserves to be referenced for teaching mode reform.

Cloud computing is a new platform for Contemporary College Students' English education. It is based on the construction of theory, cooperative learning and learning community, and is of great help to improve the quality of College Students' English teaching. This paper analyzes and discusses the College English teaching model based on cloud computing. The ecological teaching mode based on cloud computing platform combines cloud computing with ecological teaching concept, which can help teachers abandon the traditional filling teaching mode. The platform can support autonomous learning and meet the requirements of students' personality development. The experimental results show that cloud computing has good openness and sharing. Through cloud computing, the "co construction, sharing and sharing" of high-quality teaching resources can be realized. This method can achieve the balance of educational resources and inject new vitality into the traditional means of College English teaching.

Modern network information technology has not only changed people's life, but also changed the pattern of education. With the progress of new sensor technology and Internet technology, wearable devices have gradually become the new favorite of the science and technology industry. They have been applied to various fields because of their wearability, mobility, user-centered, interactive, integrated and augmented reality characteristics. Given the shortcomings of traditional foreign language education at university, wearable technology is introduced into foreign language classroom as an auxiliary form of traditional teaching. This article chooses two courses (171 and 172 courses) to test whether wearable devices have an impact on college English teaching. The English level of these two classes is similar. With the assistance of wearable technology, level 171 is selected as the experimental course; 172 is a regular course, using only traditional teaching methods, and the experiment lasted for a semester. Practical teaching is also carried out in the class. Practical teaching results show that wearable technology assisted English teaching can not only improve students’ ability to master knowledge, but also greatly enhance students' interest in learning English.
