Abstract The authors have developed an algorithm for monitoring the functioning of nonequilibrium systems, which is based on such operations as establishing the range for permissible values of efficiency probabilities of structural elements functioning, establishing permissible values of structural elements amount, plotting the system entropy dependence on structural elements amount and their effectiveness probability, constructing phase space of the system functioning and determination of the boundaries of regions with nonequilibrium stability. Practical testing of the developed algorithm for monitoring the functioning of nonequilibrium systems has shown that this algorithm can be used to solve several practical problems related to functioning monitoring and predicting the state of a wide variety of nonequilibrium systems.

The generalized indicator of useful use, depending on the state of individual elements of oil-producing equipment, characterizes the ability of this equipment to perform its function during operation at optimal working time. The generalized indicator of the useful use of operational equipment can be described as the calculated sum of the indicator of the useful use of individual equipment elements. If, during operation, the oil-producing equipment retains its operability due to frequent replacement of its structural and non-structural elements, then such operational equipment is considered by users as outdated. Operating equipment can be divided into 6 categories according to the indicators of suitability. The article analyzes the state of useful use of equipment and, as a result, the total utility of equipment is calculated in accordance with the indicators of useful use by category, and graphs of changes in the state of useful use are constructed. Based on the study of the graphs of the useful use of equipment, it was proposed to conduct an analysis in the following areas: • Evaluation of the design and technological perfection of the equipment by users according to important new parameters. • Determination of equipment compliance with wear standards during operation. Keywords: structural element, wear theory, the usefulness of jam, categories, schedule of changes, reliability.

Monitoring of the functioning of the control system for the calibration of nanometry reference measures is carried out on the basis of a previously developed methodology, which includes the construction of the phase space of the system functioning, the construction of acceptable boundaries of the functioning area, and the determination of the current state of the system.

The issues of determining the estimated cost of capital construction projects with the involvement of Federal budget funds at the stage of development of project documentation, during verification of the accuracy of determining the estimated cost and the initial (maximum) contract price are considered. On the basis of the assessment of amendments to urban planning legislation for the purpose of implementing a state contract by the contractor ( based on the results of competitive procedures or without competitive procedures by decision of state authorities), the procedure for forming the estimate as part of a state (municipal) contract, the price of which is firm, is presented. For the purpose of mutual settlements between the customer and the contractor for the work performed, the formation of primary accounting documentation, as well as for checking the work performed by regulatory authorities, an example of drawing up an estimate of the state (municipal) contract on the basis of grouping costs according to structural elements and complexes of work is given. The result of the research conducted was the development of regulations and the formation of criteria for their practical application by state bodies, institutions, organizations and other participants in the investment-construction process, as well as recipients of budget funds, who perform the functions of the state (municipal) customer, developer and technical customer.

AbstractThe interactions of the antibiotic proteins colicins/pyocins with immunity proteins is a seminal model system for studying protein–protein interactions and specificity. Yet, a precise and quantitative determination of which structural elements and residues determine their binding affinity and specificity is still lacking. Here, we used comparative structure-based energy calculations to map residues that substantially contribute to interactions across native and engineered complexes of colicins/pyocins and immunity proteins. We show that the immunity protein α1–α2 motif is a unique structurally-dissimilar element that restricts interaction specificity towards all colicins/pyocins, in both engineered and native complexes. This motif combines with a diverse and extensive array of electrostatic/polar interactions that enable the exquisite specificity that characterizes these interactions while achieving ultra-high affinity. Surprisingly, the divergence of these contributing colicin residues is reciprocal to residue conservation in immunity proteins. The structurally-dissimilar immunity protein α1–α2 motif is recognized by divergent colicins similarly, while the conserved immunity protein α3 helix interacts with diverse colicin residues. Electrostatics thus plays a key role in setting interaction specificity across all colicins and immunity proteins. Our analysis and resulting residue-level maps illuminate the molecular basis for these protein–protein interactions, with implications for drug development and rational engineering of these interfaces.

The direct determination of the steady state response for linear time invariant (LTI) systems modeled by multibond graphs is presented. Firstly, a multiport junction structure of a multibond graph in an integral causality assignment (MBGI) to get the state space of the system is introduced. By assigning a derivative causality to the multiport storage elements, the multibond graph in a derivative causality (MBGD) is proposed. Based on this MBGD, a theorem to obtain the steady state response is presented. Two case studies to get the steady state of the state variables are applied. Both cases are modeled by multibond graphs, and the symbolic determination of the steady state is obtained. The simulation results using the 20-SIM software are numerically verified.

The article examines the process of crystallization of Wood alloy using the ultrasonic method. The dependence of the determination of the speed of sound in three aggregate states of the alloy (liquid, solid, transition (liquid-solid)) was derived. The relation-ship with the amplitude values of the sound signal, a single pulse in determining the speed of sound, as well as in determining the state of the alloy is carried out. The data obtained allow us to analyze the state of the alloy and the measurement time and the specified frequency range directly in the process of crystallization.
