Sistem Informasi Geografis adalah sistem informasi yang digunakan untuk menyimpan dan mengolah data bereferensi geografis atau geospital, untuk membantu salah satunya dalam mencari lokasi. Pada penulisan ini, penulis membuat Sistem Informasi Geografis apotek di Kota Kendari berbasis web dengan menggunakan Google Maps API untuk menampilkan peta Kendari, bahasa pemrograman PHP dan Javascript serta pengelolaan database menggunakan MySQL yang nantinya akan ditampilkan diwebsite. Sistem yang dibuat diharapkan dapat memudahkan pengguna untuk mendapatkan informasi dalam menemukan lokasi apotek di Kota Kendari.

<p class="TableParagraph"><em>In 2006, a tsunami disaster occurred on the coast of Pangandaran Regency which claimed up to 664 fatalities. A large number of people died due to lack of information in knowing areas that are prone to tsunami disasters. Therefore, a geographic information system for the tsunami disaster is needed to facilitate the Pangandaran community to find out areas that are prone to tsunami disasters. In making a geographic information system web tsunami disaster using GeoServer, PostgreSQL and LeafletJS. Making a geographic information system web is done in several ways, namely, entering shapefile data into a database and then displaying it on a map server. The results of creating a web of the tsunami geographic information system contain information on land use, public facilities, hamlet boundaries, road networks, river networks and tsunami disaster mitigation.</em></p>

Many smaller pipeline operating companies see the benefits of implementing a Geographic Information System (GIS) to organize pipeline data and meet the requirements of 49 CFR 195, but cannot justify the cost of a large-scale AM/FM/GIS system. PPL Interstate Energy Company (PPL IE) is a pipeline company with 84 miles of main that implemented a GIS solution that leverages both existing technology and facility data investments. This paper discusses the process used to acquire landbase data, to organize existing pipeline data from a variety of paper-based and digital sources, and to integrate these data sets. It will also discuss the functionality and benefits of the resultant GIS.

AbstractInternet as a medium for exchange of information globally continues to grow rapidly. These developments include aspects of technology in developing Geographic Information System. With the emergence of what is termed as WebGIS, the Geographic Information System based on the Internet that makes GIS can be accessed from anywhere. We have also occurred changes in the pattern of web-based information systems, where users not only as consumers, but can become producers and distributors. This system is a new option for application developers to create a more interactive GIS with various features and facilities therein. GIS also has become a substitute for Conventional maps that have existed since long, so GIS can also be referred to as the Digital Map. Digital maps can minimize shortages Conventional Map fragile and inflexible. Bitung City Digital Map is designed to respond to the needs of geographic information the community needs of Bitung City. Objects that appear in this system of Government Office, Object Tourism and Public Facilities. Panti asuhan adalah tempat untuk anak yatim piatu, anak yatim, serta anak-anak dari keluarga kurang mampu dan lainnya dapat menetap. Oleh sebab itu, panti asuhan juga banyak dilakukan oleh aktivitas sosial. Dinas Sosial Kota Padang menyatakan  pada tahun 2018 terdapat 25 panti asuhan yang telah terdaftar. Untuk melaksanakan aktivitas sosial di panti asuhan, biasanya masyarakat langsung mendatangi panti asuhan yang dituju. Untuk melakukan aktivitas social nya terkadang perlu datang berkali-kali ke panti asuhan untuk kepastian dan pengurusan administrasi kegiatan sosial yang akan dilaksanakan. Dengan penerapan sistem informasi sebagai penyediaan informasi yang dapat digunakan melalui perangkat webGIS (Web Geographic Information System) maka semua permasalahan tersebut dapat diatasi. Pada penelitian ini dikembangkan pemetaan berbasi webGIS untuk Panti Asuhan Kota Padang yang dilengkapi dengan pendaftaran aktivitas sosial. Penelitian ini mengadopsi model pengembangan perangkat lunak Waterfall. Aplikasi ini telah diimplementasikan menggunakan bahasa pemrograman PHP dan Javascript. Hasil pengujian yang dilakukan oleh 5 orang pengguna menunjukkan bahwa sistem yang dibangun telah sesuai rancangan fungsional yang direncanakan.

One of the scopes of the SEISIMPACT-THES project is to organize into digital form and evaluate the records of reported damage, related to the occurrence of the 1978 Thessaloniki earthquake (Mw=6.5). For the exploitation of these data, an advanced Information System is under development that will include:• A properly designed database• A Geographic Information System containing all the necessary data (after digitization and corrections) enriched with more recent data, as well as topographic, geological and geophysical data of the region (metropolitan area of Thessaloniki)• A model system of accessing the above via the web and mobile devicesThe basic data for the implementation of the project are derived from the archives of the Agency for the Relief of Seismic Catastrophes in Northern Greece (YASBE). The data are included in the forms of inspection of buildings carried out in Thessaloniki shortly afterwards the 1978 earthquake. It is estimated that there are roughly 63,000 building inspection forms in the region of Thessaloniki. The exploitation of this rich database with the description on the damage that the buildings suffered will result in a complete electronic database properly standardized so that it can be linked to the geographic data of a Geographic Information System. The database structure will allow multiple queries and processes to study in depth the behavior of buildings in Thessaloniki, and its correlation with other geological, geophysical, geotechnical factors

Kantor kepala desa merupakan salah satu instansi pemerintah yang memberikan pelayanan pendataan penduduk. Kenyataannya di beberapa desa masih menggunakan sistem manual dalam pemrosesan dan pengolahan datanya. Pendataan Penduduk yang tepat, cepat dan akurat sangat di perlukan. Tujuan utama penelitian ini adalah merancang Sistem Pendataan Kependudukan yang di lengkapi dengan Web GIS (Geographic Information System). Metode yang diambil penulis yaitu dengan melaksanakan Observasi dan Studi kepustakaan. Hasil dari penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan kemudahan dalam pendataan penduduk. Dengan adanya sistem Web GIS yang menampilkan peta perumahan penduduk akan lebih maksimal dalam memantau perkembangan penduduk dan pendataannya akan lebih mudah.

Vespa is a vehicle that has its own charm of its distinctive shape. Vespa has fanatical fans around the world including in Denpasar Bali, either modern vespa or classic vespa. But sometimes riding a vespa (especially a classic vespa) although routine maintenance of the vespa may still be problematic when driving, whether it's a strike in the middle of the journey, broken clutch rope or tire broke while on the way. Information about the vespa workshop is the information that the vespa rider must know. Geographic information system of vespa workshop in Denpasar can be a solution to provide information about the location and route to the vespa workshop in Denpasar. The system is created using the concept of web-mobile, so that each device is capable of using the system with only the web-browser.The result of designing and building geographic information system of Vespa workshop in Denpasar is system consist of user menu and admin menu. Users can view information about the vespa workshop and the route to the vespa workshop. The admin menu is dedicated to managing vespa workshop data in the system.

The application of GIS (geographic information system) and webservice in travel information field is an inevitable trend. WebGIS is a type of GIS, integration of these two technologies. This paper provides an overview and information useful for approaching WebGIS. And, the system was described for travel information based on WebGIS. According to the requirements of visitors, a model is created to meet their needs, so the information which displayed on the web can be update. Then, the use of the method was discussed, and some technique were used to analyze data which collect form users. Java Script Object Notation (JSON) was used to transfer the data between server and client. Finally, Custom Personalized Travel System was displayed.
