Abstract There is still lack of bruselosis in beef cattle in Barru District, South Sulawesi. The aim of this study was to analyze data about the temporary distribution of disease by measuring spreading speed, and spatial distribution by mapping risk areas for bruselosis over the past three years. The data of this study was collected using the records from Dinas Peternakan and conducting interviews using structured questionnaires. This research was a descriptive study by measuring the incidence rate and describing the risk map using geographic information system (GIS). The results of this study indicate that, based on the incidence rate, the average of distribution rate of bruselosis in beef cattle in Barru is 5 cases per 10 000 heads/year. This incidence rate always decreases every year. There was no sub-district that classified as high risk. There was one area that classified as medium risk namely sub-district of Mallusetasi. Control measure that have been carried out by goverment were successful to reduce the spread of disease. Keywords: Beef cattle; Bruselosis; Incidence rate; Occurrence; Risk.   Abstrak Informasi mengenai penyebaran kejadian penyakit pada sapi potong di Kabupaten Barru Sulawesi selatan masih kurang. AbstractInternet as a medium for exchange of information globally continues to grow rapidly. These developments include aspects of technology in developing Geographic Information System. With the emergence of what is termed as WebGIS, the Geographic Information System based on the Internet that makes GIS can be accessed from anywhere. We have also occurred changes in the pattern of web-based information systems, where users not only as consumers, but can become producers and distributors. This system is a new option for application developers to create a more interactive GIS with various features and facilities therein. GIS also has become a substitute for Conventional maps that have existed since long, so GIS can also be referred to as the Digital Map. Digital maps can minimize shortages Conventional Map fragile and inflexible. Bitung City Digital Map is designed to respond to the needs of geographic information the community needs of Bitung City. Objects that appear in this system of Government Office, Object Tourism and Public Facilities. This system uses Apache as the web server and TimeMap as the map server. Keywords: Digital Map, Geographic Information System, WebGIS

One of the scopes of the SEISIMPACT-THES project is to organize into digital form and evaluate the records of reported damage, related to the occurrence of the 1978 Thessaloniki earthquake (Mw=6.5). For the exploitation of these data, an advanced Information System is under development that will include:• A properly designed database• A Geographic Information System containing all the necessary data (after digitization and corrections) enriched with more recent data, as well as topographic, geological and geophysical data of the region (metropolitan area of Thessaloniki)• A model system of accessing the above via the web and mobile devicesThe basic data for the implementation of the project are derived from the archives of the Agency for the Relief of Seismic Catastrophes in Northern Greece (YASBE). The data are included in the forms of inspection of buildings carried out in Thessaloniki shortly afterwards the 1978 earthquake. It is estimated that there are roughly 63,000 building inspection forms in the region of Thessaloniki. The exploitation of this rich database with the description on the damage that the buildings suffered will result in a complete electronic database properly standardized so that it can be linked to the geographic data of a Geographic Information System. The database structure will allow multiple queries and processes to study in depth the behavior of buildings in Thessaloniki, and its correlation with other geological, geophysical, geotechnical factors

Geographic data visualization is an important research area of Web Geographic Information System (GIS). Owing to the detailed subassemblies and exhaustive knowledge database, building information modeling (BIM) plays an important role in geospatial research and industries. The integration of BIM and GIS contributes to the smooth visualization, quick construction, and efficient management of geographic data. However, there are very few methods that can yield high-efficiency data transmission and visualization for complex BIM models while maintaining the integrity of the internal subassembly structure and attributes. To overcome this issue, this paper proposes a 3D Tiles-based visualization method for complex BIM models on the Web-based 3D model viewer. This method is adopted to partition the BIM model according to its assembly without simplifying the BIM model, by using a tiling method for 3D models based on a degraded R-tree, which accounts for the size of tiles. Subsequently, we introduce the “Mask Filter,” a level of detail method that is used to layer the BIM model. Conducting a series of contrast experiments, the result indicates that this method is efficient and feasible, which significantly improves visualization performance of complex BIM with mass data in the geospatial scene and facilitates the integration of Building Information Modeling and Geographic Information System.
