This Letter proposes a new synchronization theorem for a subclass of chaotic Lur'e systems. We take a specific state variable of the drive system as the driving signal. We prove that globally synchronization can be attained via the simple linear error feedback. The approach is illustrated using Chua's chaotic oscillator and a hyperchaotic oscillator.

For the frequency detection by using chaotic oscillator, in this paper, the results which are under the influence of the sampling frequency on the basis of theory that the output variance of the system will reach a maximum when the reference frequency equals to the signal frequency are analyzed. Experiments have indicated that the accuracy rate of the results will be improved and the signal to noise ratio (SNR) threshold will be reduced by increasing the sampling frequency to a certain degree. Besides, we have a further research on detecting the frequency of a signal with an initial phase based on the theory mentioned above, simulation experimental results have verified the output variance still has a drastic change when the reference frequency is equal to the signal frequency.

A novel time delayed chaotic oscillator exhibiting mono- and double scroll complex chaotic attractors is designed. This circuit consists of only a few operational amplifiers and diodes and employs a threshold controller for flexibility. It efficiently implements a piecewise linear function. The control of piecewise linear function facilitates controlling the shape of the attractors. This is demonstrated by constructing the phase portraits of the attractors through numerical simulations and hardware experiments. Based on these studies, we find that this circuit can produce multi-scroll chaotic attractors by just introducing more number of threshold values.

The study lies in the field of physical reservoir computing and aims to develop a classifier using Fisher Iris dataset for benchmark tasks. Single Chua chaotic oscillator acts as a physical reservoir. The study was performed using computer simulation. The features of Iris flowers are represented as the consequence of short pulses at a constant level of a control parameter, which is fed to the oscillator, changing its dynamics. During the classification of flowers, the oscillator works without being reset, so each pulse on the input changes the phase trajectory and makes it unique for each Iris flower. Finally, the estimation of the symmetry of an attractor makes it possible to connect each species of Iris with the properties of the attractor. The resulting architecture of the classifier includes a single-node externally-driven Chua oscillator with time-delayed input. The classifier shows two mistakes in classifying the dataset with 75 samples working in chaotic mode.

Recognition of a given symptom, sign, or abnormal laboratory finding represents the start of a long, often tortuous path. The trail soon broadens, as combinations of findings coalesce into syndromes. Blind alleys, thick forests, and divergent roads beguile and confuse the traveler. One may stumble onto the main route by application of rational, physiologic patterns of thought. Charting a discrete map to finite understanding and effective therapy is dependent upon delineation of underlying cellular mechanisms. Similar parables have often been utilized to indicate the applicability and essentiality of studies of cellular and intercellular processes in relation to human physiology and disease.
