This paper presents 250W, 20 KHz LCL resonant inverter having Efficiencies greater than 95% were obtained down to resistive loads of 50%. Efficiencies greater than 80% were obtained at significantly reduced loads (11%). Operation above resonance was utilized to increase the efficiency and maintain zero voltage switching (ZVS) for varied loads. Total harmonic distortion (THD) of less than 8% was achieved for all resistive loads. The above results were obtained from evaluation version of PSIM also used to model the LCL topology for varied loads and LCL configurations. A LCL Resonant Inverter is proposed for applications in high frequency distributed AC power systems.

Photovoltaic merupakan sumber energi terbarukan yang banyak dikembangkan, namun output dari photovoltaic masih dalam bentuk arus searah (DC). Oleh karena itu, diperlukan perangkat yang bisa mengubah tegangan DC menjadi tegangan arus bolak balik (AC). E class zero-voltage-switching resonant inverter sebagai salah satu konverter DC ke AC akan diimplementasikan. Rangkaian E class zero-voltage-switching resonant inverter dikontrol melalui sinyal analog PWM yang dibangkitkan IC SG3524. Penggunaan ZVS (Zero Voltage Switcing) memiliki tujuan untuk mengurangi kerugian tegangan pada proses switching MOSFET. Rangkaian resonan π1b dirancang dan digunakan untuk memperbaiki bentuk gelombang keluaran dan meningkatkan tegangan keluaran inverter. Percobaan dilakukan dengan variasi beban, duty cycle, dan frekuensi untuk menyelidiki respon E class zero-voltage-switching π1b resonant inverter. Beban berupa lampu pijar 15W, lampu pijar 25W, dan motor induksi satu fasa capacitor run. Dari hasil uji tegangan keluaran didapatkan bahwa nilai tegangan keluaran meningkat dari frekuensi 49Hz ke 50Hz, kemudian nilai tegangan keluaran menurun dari frekuensi 50Hz ke 51Hz. Pada variasi duty cycle, tegangan output meningkat dari duty cycle 10% ke 50% dan kemudian tegangan output menurun dari duty cycle 50% ke 90%. Frekuensi juga mempengaruhi kecepatan putar motor, seiring dengan meningkatnya frekuensi, kecepatan putaran motor juga meningkat.

The technology of soft-switching can improve stability ,reliability and efficiency of the inverting spot welding power supply .In this paper ,a new kind of topology of zero-voltage switching spot welding power supply is proposed ,which is auxiliary circuit in paralleling with the lagging lag ,so it can afford auxiliary current of soft switch .With the relationship between circuit state of every working mode of main circuit and main circuit parameters in new topology ,the ability of searching optimal overall situation of ACA is used to optimize circuit parameters ,and it turns out to confirm the advantage of this topology .

This paper presents an LLC resonant inverter with phase limit control to guarantee zero voltage switching (ZVS) operation and protect switching devices from spike current during the heating process. The output power is controlled by using the asymmetrical duty cycle (ADC) modulation. With phase limit control, the non-ZVS operation and spike current caused by a change of duty cycle with fixed frequency and load Curie’s temperature can be eliminated. The proposed method is confirmed through computer simulation and hardware experiment. The experimental results are provided with the heating of a 300 g of Tin from room temperature until melting at 232 ˚C.
