Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) is a telecommunications technology that is able to pass the communication service in Internet Protocol networks so as to allow communicating between users in an IP network. However VoIP technology still has weakness in the Quality of Service (QoS). VOPI weaknesses is affected by the selection of the physical servers used. In this research, VoIP is configured on Linux operating system with Asterisk as VoIP application server and integrated on a Raspberry Pi by using wired and wireless network as the transmission medium. Because of depletion of IPv4 capacity that can be used on the network, it needs to be applied to VoIP system using the IPv6 network protocol with supports devices. The test results by using a wired transmission medium that has obtained are the average delay is 117.851 ms, jitter is 5.796 ms, packet loss is 0.38%, throughput is 962.861 kbps, 8.33% of CPU usage and 59.33% of memory usage. The analysis shows that the wired transmission media is better than the wireless transmission media and wireless-wired.

VoIP stands for voice over internet protocol. It is one of the most widely used technologies. It enables users to send and transmit media over IP network. The transition from IPv4 to IPv6 provides many benefits for internet IPv6 is more efficient than IPv4. This paper presents a performance analysis of VoIP over WLAN using IPv4 and IPv6 and OPNET software program to simulate the protocols and to investigate the QoS parameters such as jitter, delay variation, packet send, and packet received and throughputs for IP4 and IP6 and compare between them.

AbstractTiOx-based resistive switching devices have recently attracted attention as a promising candidate for next-generation non-volatile memory devices. A number of studies have attempted to increase the structural density of resistive switching devices. The fabrication of a multi-level switching device is a feasible method for increasing the density of the memory cell. Herein, we attempt to obtain a non-volatile multi-level switching memory device that is highly transparent by embedding SiO2 nanoparticles (NPs) into the TiOx matrix (TiOx@SiO2 NPs). The fully transparent resistive switching device is fabricated with an ITO/TiOx@SiO2 NPs/ITO structure on glass substrate, and it shows transmittance over 95% in the visible range. The TiOx@SiO2 NPs device shows outstanding switching characteristics, such as a high on/off ratio, long retention time, good endurance, and distinguishable multi-level switching. To understand multi-level switching characteristics by adjusting the set voltages, we analyze the switching mechanism in each resistive state. This method represents a promising approach for high-performance non-volatile multi-level memory applications.

The performance descending of current congested link inference algorithms is obviously in dynamic routing IP network, such as the most classical algorithm CLINK. To overcome this problem, based on the assumptions of Markov property and time homogeneity, we build a kind of Variable Structure Discrete Dynamic Bayesian (VSDDB) network simplified model of dynamic routing IP network. Under the simplified VSDDB model, based on the Bayesian Maximum A Posteriori (BMAP) and Rest Bayesian Network Model (RBNM), we proposed an Improved CLINK (ICLINK) algorithm. Considering the concurrent phenomenon of multiple link congestion usually happens, we also proposed algorithm CLILRS (Congested Link Inference algorithm based on Lagrangian Relaxation Subgradient) to infer the set of congested links. We validated our results by the experiments of analogy, simulation, and actual Internet.

At the present time the smart technology enhanced to be utilized for the human life in many elds, especially in the houses. The building automation experienced a rapid growth in techniques and methods to provide an advanced management for operational advantages in buildings and develop the equipment in the houses to the consumption of energy and operation. When the KNX system has been developed to be the most important building automation, the ethernet system has evolved to be global communication system and use it as automation system. Among the various technological developments is IoT, which is the essential development the future achievement via the internet techniques, Meanwhile the different available communication mediums of KNX and the need of utilizing IP network in compiling extensive areas of KNX has led us to conduct this comparison.
