With regards to the characteristics of inter-basin water transfer projects, a 3d visual simulation (Three-Dimensional Visual Simulation, 3DVS) method for inter-basin water transfer project was proposed. A virtual reproduction of the entire project and its topography is achieved. The supplement of the three-dimensional topographic data was completed by Civil 3D combinedwith Google Earth. In this paper, the 3D digital model of inter-basin water transfer project is established using 3ds Max. Based on the established digital model, the simulation of channel water were realized .The Yuzhou section of South-to-North Water Transfer Project is taken as a case study. 3D visual simulation provides an effective way for the construction management and decision-making for inter-basin water diversion project.

For projects, especially large-scale projects, due to the long time of project construction, the construction of the complexity of the geological conditions, sometimes inevitably lead to quality defects.How scientific and reasonable quality defects hidden works to take remedial measures, or effective correction to restore the loss of time, cost, quality, safety,become an important engineering problem.Some cracks, will not have a substantial impact on the project, you can take measures to deal with to ensure proper implementation of the project.The article takes the analysis of crack initiation and Treatment in the Suining two station project.There are a lot of reference in processing defects in the country's large projects.Statistical indicators from the implementation of the results, analysis shows that to achieve even better than the regulatory requirements, and achieved the expected results.

A one-dimensional numerical model was developed for unsteady-flow in a large-scale conveyance channel with complex inner boundary conditions. Using Taylor expansion and finite difference method, this model incorporated three types of inner boundary conditions, including regulators, inverted siphons, and flumes with parallel connections. It can facilitate continuous simulation with large-amplitude variations in water level and flow discharge during the flow transitions. Transition flows were simulated by this model, which were caused by the operation of a single gate of the Middle Route of the South-to-North Water Diversion Project. The discharges of simulation were consistent with the discharges of formulas calculation, and the water level variations accords with hydraulic law. The results indicate its efficiency and applicability on simulating hydraulic response of large-scale conveyance channels with complex inner boundary conditions.

This paper introduces development of the agent construction system in China and overview of the South-to-North Water Diversion Middle Route Project. The current practical application of three management modes of direct management,agent construction system(ACS) and commissioning system in the Beijing-Shijiazhuang section of the South-to-North Water Diversion Middle Route Project is analyzed, and some of the advantages of the ACS is pointed out. In the process of practice of the ACS, several existent key problems are discussed, such as the choice of the agent construction units, defective section division of the agent construction, unclear responsibilities, rights and obligations of the agent construction unit, the unreasonable agent construction cost and so on. Then,some constructive improvement measures are put forward , such as to improve the supervision and inspection mechanism, to issue the regulations and standard contract templates of agent construction, to establish incentive and punishment mechanism, to strengthen qualification management of the agent construction unit and to actively cultivate the project management company.Through exploration and analysis on the ACS of the concrete practice and applied research, a reference is provided for further promotion and application of the ACS in the hydraulic engineering in China and the direction of development is indicated.
