The article examines the 12 principles of Beyond Budgeting , proposed by J. Hope and R. Fraser, and the peculiarities of their application to the management of multi-apartment buildings. The possibility of introducing Beyond Budgeting is analyzed not only in management organizations, but also in the direct management of apartment buildings and in creation of a homeowners' association. The results of the implementation of the principles of Beyond Budgeting (change in organizational culture) are analyzed according to the McKinsey 7S model. Recommendations for the implementation of Beyond Budgeting are given in the framework of the theory of organizational change by M. Beer and N. Noria. The positive experience of implementing principles of Beyond Budgeting at OOO Management Company ‘Mayak’ allows us to recommend Beyond Budgeting management to other organizations carrying out entrepreneurial activities in the management of apartment buildings in Russia.

Although the pregnant population was affected by early waves of the COVID-19 pandemic, increasing transmission and severity due to new viral variants has resulted in an increased incidence of severe illness during pregnancy in many regions. Critical illness and respiratory failure are relatively uncommon occurrences during pregnancy, and there are limited high-quality data to direct management. This paper reviews the current literature on COVID-19 management as it relates to pregnancy, and provides an overview of critical care support in these patients. COVID-19 drug therapy is similar to that used in the non-pregnant patient, including anti-inflammatory therapy with steroids and IL-6 inhibitors, although safety data are limited for antiviral drugs such as remdesivir and monoclonal antibodies. As both pregnancy and COVID-19 are thrombogenic, thromboprophylaxis is essential. Endotracheal intubation is a higher risk during pregnancy, but mechanical ventilation should follow usual principles. ICU management should be directed at optimizing maternal well-being, which in turn will benefit the fetus.

Introduction. Psilocybe mushroom, or wi dely known as the magic mushroom is a variety of mushroom commonly consumed because of hallucinogenic traits it causes toward its consumer. This hallucinogenic effect is caused by Psilocybin, a hallucinogenic substance often found within Psilocybe mushroom. This substance affects mental state of the consumer and has similar effect to those of LSD and Mescaline. Aside from its effect to cause mental disturbance, consumption of this mushroom may cause acute renal injury which leads to a fatal and life -threatening situation. Case presentation. A case of Psilocybe intoxication had been reported in a 22 years old male with a confirmed history of consuming Psilocybe mushroom. Patient first came with a symptom of disorientation and restlessness. Patient also often shook his head off, laughed out, screamed, and continuously making bizarre movements. Psychiatric examination confirmed a sign of auditory hallucination, unstable mood, and stereotypical behavior experienced by the patient. Conclusion. An approach is needed in the form of a ph ysical examination and support that supports a prompt and precise diagnosis, as well as comprehensive management that focuses on the direct management of life-threatening symptoms and symptomatic treatment, taking into account the si gns and symptoms of life-threateningnephrotoxicity

AbstractEco-restoration initiative work in the high altitude Dayara pastureland (3501 m) from the Indian Himalayan Region has been considered to be one of the successful field demonstration against both natural and anthropogenic degradation. The present study therefore attempts to assess the implications of entire eco-restoration model as practiced by Department of Forest, Government of Uttarakhand in 2019. Its assessment was done by calculating restoration success index by way of considering three categories, viz., direct management measure (M), environmental desirability (E) and socio-economic feasibility (SE) considering 22 individual variables. ‘M’ comprised both biotic and abiotic pressures. Grazing and tourism were biotic, while abiotic pressure was considered mainly soil erosion in alpine area due to topographic fragility. Above ground vegetation profile and below ground soil nutrient profile (N, P, K, pH and water holding capacity) were analyzed in ‘E’ component. In the last but not least, ‘SE’ was analyzed to assess the social acceptability of the local communities and stakeholders who are supposed to be ultimate beneficiary of alike interventions. Direct management measure was found with the variable index score of 0.8 indicating the higher score as compared to environmental desirability (0.56). Under direct management measure, grazing and tourists’ carrying capacity of the area was analyzed with high management needs to call the region sustainable in terms of availability of bio-resources. The ecosystem index score was evaluated for the reference (81.94), treated (64.5) and untreated zones (52.03), wherein increasing profile of these values were found. The outcomes like improved vegetation profile in terms of total herb density, soil nutrient profile of the restored area along with soil pH (4.96) and water holding capacity (49.85%) were found to be restored significantly along with controlling 169.64 tonne year-1 soil erosion from draining. The assessment of grazing pattern of 118 migratory Cow Unit (CU) (76 horse/mule and 18 sheep/goat, already controlled), 318 local CU (30 horse/mule and 187 sheep/goat) were calculated and recommended to be controlled. Tourists’ carrying capacity of 274 tourists per day and manual removal of Rumex nepalensis at the shepherd camping site were found to be worth to apply in the area. Use of biodegradable but locally sourced material and engaging local villagers in this endeavor were also found to be in harmony with SDG Goal 1 (no poverty). Therefore, the restoration and its evaluation model could have its future prospects to prove as a successful restoration practice. This restoration practice could not only be worth in high altitude degraded alpine pastures of the Indian Himalayan Region but also to other mountain alpine and sub-alpine ecosystems.

This qualitative exploratory study addressed the perspectives of Spanish physical therapists (PTs) regarding (a) the organization of their work during the first wave of the pandemic; (b) their role within the intensive care units (ICUs); (c) management of COVID-19 survivors; (d) potential future challenges identified for the physical therapy profession. Thirty PTs who had worked at a National Public Hospital in Madrid during the first COVID-19 outbreak were recruited by purposeful sampling and snowball techniques. In-depth interviews and researcher field notes were used to collect data. Interviews were transcribed verbatim. An inductive thematic analysis was used to identify emerging themes. After identifying 1110 codes, four themes emerged. Throughout the first wave of the pandemic, the role and work of PTs in hospitals experienced a change. These changes took place at their organizational level, affecting the distribution of PTs in the hospital, and the role of PTs in front-line COVID units such as ICUs, as well as direct management of outpatients at the onset of the pandemic, and after discharge from the ICUs. This situation has led to PTs foreseeing challenges and developing new expectations concerning their role and the physical therapy profession in the future.

Embedded platforms are projected to integrate hundreds of cores in the near future, and expanding the interconnection network remains a key challenge. We propose SNet, a new Scalable NETwork paradigm that extends the NoCs area to include a software/hardware dynamic routing mechanism. To design routing pathways among communicating processes, it uses a distributed, adaptive, non-supervised routing method based on the ACO algorithm (Ant Colony Optimization). A small footprint hardware unit called DMC speeds up data transfer (Direct Management of Communications). SNet has the benefit of being extremely versatile, allowing for the creation of a broad range of routing topologies to meet the needs of various applications. We provide the DMC module in this work and assess SNet performance by executing a large number of test cases.

Fish bone is one of the most common foreign body ingestions encountered in the emergency department. Fish bone perforations occur most commonly in segments with acute angulation like the ileocecal region and rectosigmoid junction and can present acutely with obstruction and free air or with chronic complications like abscess and sepsis. Radiologists should be familiar with the high-risk clinical scenarios, the CT appearance of radiopaque fishbones, and the spectrum of imaging findings related to gastrointestinal (GI) tract so as to direct management and timely referral to GI endoscopists and surgeons.
